Sep-06-12 | | spawn2: zugzwang talaga eh.. |
Sep-06-12 | | spawn2: Me round 10 pa guys and 11..Yaka pa pumatak: ) |
Sep-06-12 | | pinoymaster77: Sandals na, regroup na lang for the final 2 rounds, put this match behind us... Still at a minimum yung top 20 avowed team goal before the Olympiad, if a strong finish eh baka better pa... |
Sep-06-12 | | spawn2: Sa akin ok lang itong setback..we were seeded No. 35 and me chance pa bumawi sa next two (2) rds. Sumabay ang Team Philippines sa Top Team in the last 3 rds with us winning 2 out of 3. Go Pinas! |
Sep-06-12 | | spawn2: GM Eugene..it was a valiant effort complicating matters and trying to win the game. Bawi na lang tomorrow. Nyt Guys! |
We just ran them to the ground! Ubos tayo. |
Sep-06-12 | | Iskubadayb: Tsibog ng madami, tapos lakad, then hot shower. Ganda ng tulog. Banat ulit bukas! Sandals. :) |
Sep-06-12 | | kardopov: <Sandals na, regroup na lang for the final 2 rounds, put this match behind us... Still at a minimum yung top 20 avowed team goal before the Olympiad, if a strong finish eh baka better pa...> Amen. |
Sep-06-12 | | 321ycnay: OK lang... obviously pagod na silang lahat. Two rounds pa naman, decompress at balik ulit tayo sa goal to finish in the top 20. Go Pinas! |
Sep-06-12 | | Doji: Ubosh din ang mga ruso.. Lupit ni nakamura! Bawi next round, kaya pa makapwesto ng maganda ganda.. Nyt guys! Ubosh din ako sa chessbookie.. Hehe |
Sep-06-12 | | geniokov: Now that we are facing Vietnam at Round 10,it is very important for our Team to "Play for Win" because this will determine our respect from the Chessworld, counting us as a country that should NEVER take it for granted! Round 11(last round) are definitely focus to those teams who are fighting for medals! Our aim is to get it into "TOP 10"...Top 20 will be Ok but why not "Top 10"?...At round 11(last round) we will be expecting so many draws because every delegation from each country are tired enough to fight for overall placing! European way of thinking is to get back home ASAP because anyway,it will be much important for them is their individual record, not so much concentrating about the country they are carrying with! We have to beat Vietnam so that whoever our opponent at last round will be easier to think about drawing our games or splitting the point! Just my opinion! |
Sep-06-12 | | geniokov: Wesley So must hold Le Quang Liem into draw! As well as Barbosa against Nguyen! Our chance is Board 3 and 4! Paragua and Torre!...Sorry to say for not counting for Dimaks because we need this critical rounds.Anyway,it is already far for Dimaks to get a GM norm.He can get it in a near future...Goodluck Philippines! We are proud of our players! |
Sep-06-12 | | geniokov: After this Olympiad Pres.Pichay must take it seriously regarding our country´s support for Chess! It was proven by our players that this sport are bringing "scented laurels" to our country! A nationwide program concentrating to get more Wesley So´s are needed for the future of chess in the next generation! |
Sep-06-12 | | geniokov: Even we get nothing in London Olympics,at least in Chess Olympiad we bring something very important for our country! Our Chess Olympiad players must be given a warm welcome to our country like Manny Pacquiao! |
Sep-06-12 | | bubuli55: The Philippine team made a valiant effort to keep pace with China today. But to no avail. They were out of sync. The team did not have that mystical energy seen in their games that put them number 2 in the standings after 8 rounds. Keep faith. These professional players will regroup and come back with a vengeance. Gentlemen ... Gas up!
Good luck :) |

Sep-06-12 | | allan.dinglasan: GO Go Go RP! |
Sep-06-12 | | pinoymaster77: Good am,
Just a bad day in the office, shake it off, and do battle naman with Vietnam tonight, then there's a REST day tomorrow! It's part of the TEST of CHARACTER for the team, the make the journey sweeter. This campaign has already opened up a lot of eyes that we are not that so far away from being a permanent part of the CHESS ELITE! Let's continue to pray for wisdom for the team officials for the round 10 line-up and for our players |
Sep-06-12 | | pinoymaster77: Haneps, 4 way tie at the top pala after that US win over Russia - China,Russia,Armenia,USA in that order. And its USA vs China at the top board!
PHI naman in 12th place, let's have that finishing kick to put the icing on the cake! |
