May-26-14  joeyj: He stays at 2600.7 or 2601 !

Live Rating Updated !!!

May-26-14  pinoymaster77: joeyj,

Bale -10 o -11 ba si GM Ino sa Chicago Open? Not his best event, but have to keep on playing to be 'in shape' and up to speed, and practice the current opening repertoire.

May-26-14  spawn2: Nice save GM Ino!
May-27-14  joeyj: -10.3 sya pm77 !
May-27-14  bubuli55: Time pressure din yung kalavan. Qg1 did it. Nice game GM Julio.
Jun-01-14  pinoymaster77: Month of June na, before the end of the month, final answers will be known about the PHI Olympiad team.
Jun-16-14  pinoymaster77: GM Ino featured in Bobby Ang's Chesspiece , no mention on the 2014 Olympiad team:

http://www.bworldonline.com/content...

Jun-20-14  pinoymaster77: Still silent on the GM Ino front, dun daw sa NCC Finals meeting last Thurs, no firm announcement yet on the Olympiad team (how many seeded or qualifying slots) and players were adviced to 'play their best'.

I guess in the following week until next Saturday's conclusion of the NCC Finals, we might hear of more firm news on the team to be sent to Tromso.

Jun-23-14  pinoymaster77: Question was answered when GM Ino Sadorra want to the PSC playing venue of the BOGM last Sat accompanied by his pretty, intelligent wife Katie (now doctorate grad) and Dad Bing.

GMs Ino and Banjo are also shown in the PSC's FB site today in a courtesy call to PSC Chairman Richie Garcia, NCFP TD Jayson Gonzales and Dad Bing.

Ayush, may Board 1 na tayo !

Jun-23-14  pinoymaster77: Saw this in PSC's site :

http://www.web.psc.gov.ph/index.php...

Jul-04-14  pinoymaster77: Tromso, here they come ! 27 days to go!

Confirmed na makakasama ni GM Ino sila GMs Torre and Gomez so far, as top BOGM 2014 finishers.

Jul-04-14  torrefan: We will have the best Philippine team since Bordonada's retirement!
Jul-06-14  pinoymaster77: GM Ino Sadorra was one of the 'early bird' GMs to confirm participation :

http://www.uschess.org/content/view...

Jul-07-14  pinoymaster77: torrefan,

Lalo na kung nasa 'team of seconds' kayo ni Glenn B, to advice on the PHI opponents, pag may pairings na during the Olympiad.

Jul-07-14  torrefan: <pinoymaster77: torrefan,
Lalo na kung nasa 'team of seconds' kayo ni Glenn B, to advice on the PHI opponents, pag may pairings na during the Olympiad.>

Well, why not? I am sure that like me, in this coming battles, with Spartan1998 manning the top board vice Wesley, it is not Don Quixote whom Glenn B is thinking but Leonidas!

Jul-08-14  pinoymaster77: torrefan,

Ok, start na. GM Ino and IM Pau would be first time Olympians, I think? AFGM Torre would have a key role to have them adjusted to the atmosphere, and help guide them along.

Ano mapapayo mo pa sa kanila?

Jul-29-14  torrefan: To the spearhead of the Philippine Team my only advice: stay hard.

You need our prayers and you will get them.

Jul-29-14  bubuli55: Julio, good luck! Enjoy!
Aug-01-14  bubuli55: Nagdidilikading ang pic. Sigurading maraming magandang kuha sa Tromso. :)
Aug-01-14  wordfunph: acid test for JC in Tromso, naway kumaldag ka sa unang upuan para sa Inang Bayan.
Aug-02-14  pinoymaster77: Pagpupugay from Mr. JoeyV in his blog site :

http://sportsmaryosep.wordpress.com...

SULONG mga BAYANI !

Aug-02-14  bubuli55: A short game. Set the tempo of the match. Good job, Julio. Congratz!
Aug-03-14  pinoymaster77: JoeyV's Philstar article :

http://www.philstar.com/sports/2014...

Aug-03-14  pinoymaster77: So far so good in HOLDING the TOP BOARD, good escape act / recovery vs Bosnia!

Next could be the chance to battle 'Chucky' Ivanchuk. He's actually past his peak, and could be ripe for the picking.

Aug-03-14  bubuli55: Gud dyab, Julio! Malamang diretso ang laro mo. 11 rounds :)
