Jan-11-10  NakoSonorense: I find myself in an ultimate state of shock to learn that Mark McGwire used steroids during his baseball career. Shock, I say.
Jan-11-10  Raisin Death Ray: <NakoSonorense> First Ellen DeGeneres comes out of the closet, then Mark McGwire admits to using steriods! Will the surprises never end!!!!!!
Jan-12-10  technical draw: This is a photo of my grandfather. He was a janitor at Princeton. While he was cleaning Prof. Einstein's office a photographer came in and took his picture. Einstein was actually a well groomed man, my grandfather, not so much.

Jan-12-10  weisyschwarz: Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh do not share a birthday.
Jan-12-10  capatal: A stitch in time might have confused Einstein.
Jan-12-10  TheFocus: A little-known theory of Einstein's was E = MCHammer. It was not that popular. Neither was MC Hammer.

Albert also pronounced his name as Einsteen. Most people mispronounced it but Al was too shy to correct them.

HeMateMe: Oppenheimer said "Albert, please hand me the plutonium."

Al said "Can't touch DAT!!

Jan-12-10  technical draw: I changed the name of the African country Burkina Faso from Republic of Upper Volta. Why? Because I had hundreds of stamps of Upper Volta and they are now worth millions! Millions, I say!
Jan-13-10  Calli: Okay I admit using steroids, but I would be just as good a kibitzer without them.
Jan-13-10  weisyschwarz: I just heard that the Greeks eat their heros. Ewww! No wonder Kotronias and his team are doing so poorly in Turkey.
Jan-13-10  TheFocus: <weisyschwarz> No. They eat gyro sandwiches. Gyro is pronounced like hero. But I bet you knew that and was pulling our leg.
Jan-14-10  weisyschwarz: <TheFocus> What? Who? Me? No! Honestly!
Jan-14-10  technical draw: Do they have turkey sandwiches in Turkey?

  Annie K.: <tpstar: <Are Cubans cubes?>>

Are two-dimensional Cubans squares?

(Q: How do you get a two-dimensional Cuban?
A: Try a steamroller. Then again, maybe a Cuban cartoon character would do too.)

Jan-14-10  PinnedPiece: Does an American have a merry can?

HeMateMe: Images can be confusing. When Fischer got off the plane at Reykjavik, I saw a fan hand him a copy of "Terrapin Station", looking to get a signed copy.
Jan-15-10  capatal: Psychoanalysis is that mental illness for which it regards itself a therapy.
Jan-15-10  technical draw: I was the original Mexican cliff diver. Actually I was being chased by angry husbands when I accidently fell off the cliff. But the men got their revenge by starting a tourist attraction. Hmm, I wonder if I can sue?
Jan-15-10  weisyschwarz: New book coming out on Vovsha:

"The Rook of Eli."

The most enterprising bloke here will take this to the pun submission page. Don't forget to footnote the book.
