I think ok naman i-share,basta acknowledged ang source, this was featured in June 30 article in sir rusticbull's Malibay site pero it was so short notice and it's weeklong tournament so figured di puede mga BW (my impression it could be a team event) : The National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) announced changes in the format of the Victory Central Mall National Open Grouping Chess Championships which will be held from July 2 to July 8 at the 4th floor of the Victory Central Mall in Caloocan City. Instead of having three categories, Group A and B have been merged into an Open category with no rating requirements. (The official website of the NCFP did not provide enough details about the composition of teams.) As a result, the prizes were combined as follows:

Ang iniisip ko lang eh kung sa ganitong mga laro eh pwede ka maglabas ng novelty at kung posible na hindi ito makikita ng potential opponents ni GM Joey sa WCC. |

I met Nanie and your PARA Team last Friday at our VCR Cup in MERLACO and they are interested to play on July 11. This will be a 4-team fund-raising tournament for the Para Team Paki kumusta na lang kay Abe). The participating teams are:
Team 1 - RP PARA Team
Team 2 - BW
Team 3 - MERALCO
Team 4 - LSGH
We will be charging an entry fee for each team, except the Para. And the amount raised will be donated for their training and personal expenses. I am proposing a 6-board play on 30-30 time control and the entry fee is P2,000 per team. I have talked with Rustic Bull of BW and NM Carag of LSGH already and they have agreed to play in principle. Pag-ageehan pa ang entry fee. This is for flag and country and for the least of His brothers. |

theyre going into final round this afternoon. Joey drew with Jayson in Rd7 then another draw with Laylo in Rd8, and round8 was punctuated with draws at the top boards, but Ali Branzuela sneaked in a win I think vs Nolte so he got 6 pts.Laylo still has solo lead with 6.5 pts and has the inside track to the top prize. We have no access to the game moves specially in rd8, I hope they were fighting draws. kramrich, Datu having decent finish with a win vs Legaspi and a draw vs
Nadera, now with 5.5 pts.
Madami na rin atang di na pumunta as the tournament went on specially in rd8, mas madami nang 'not paired'. |
