Jul-08-09  pinoymaster77: Hi kramrich, thanks for the backgrounder on C. Arroyo. Well, it sounds like mas in the circle of the chessmasters ka he he... kami mga patzer mga chess parents na lang napaglipasan na he he...

Mr. Segarra ay nakita ko competing in the intl edition of GMA and Pichay Cups, he wears a La Salle jacket so he must have been varsity there before JP's time. And I read his name in the executive chess circuit, pinaghatian nila ni Dr. Mayor yung mga legs.

But nowadays what I keep on hearing is its FEU's time, aside from giving full support they have a great recruitment program spotting talents from the countryside from the Palaro and natl/regional tournaments.

Hope to watch you, pulsar and other BW mates in the challengers then.

Jul-08-09  pinoymaster77: When I total the pots for 1st and 2nd places, it would be 80k each for GMs Laylo and JP.

For 3rd to 7th places for those with 6.5 pts total pot is 85k so each of them probably gets 17k. Medyo payat yun for GM Joey's preps, hope he gets more sponsorships.

Jul-08-09  epistle: <gmjoey>

totoo po ba sir ang sinabi ni sir <rjsolcruz>...na darating kayo sa saturday...?

Jul-08-09  epistle: yes....yes...yes...!!!

maganda yan pag dumating si GM Antonio...

Jul-08-09  kramrich: hehe pinoymaster...kilala ko lang yung ibang mga master lalo n mga nakasabay at nakalaban ko sa UAAP and NCAA..yup teammate ko si segarra sa DLSU dati then i left, tsaka dumating si dimakiling and the aton brothers...then si JP nman. yup grabe daw recruitment ni coach jayson...mga palarong pambansa, grade school, highschool, college and women's...masipag yan si segarra magaral, passionate din kaya sbrang nalagpasan n nya ako hehehe left message for you s torre page bro
Jul-09-09  pinoymaster77: Hi kramrich, ok so 'Green Archer' pala kayo, o ano ba tawag kapag chess player.

Maybe the '3rd wave' of La Salle might come when Paolo Bersamina graduates to college level? We'll see.

Maganda rin siguro some more of our GMs start to handle major collegiate teams para mas ok ang competition?

Like for example si GM Bong masipag din magturo yan

Jul-09-09  spawn2: kramrich,

lumaro ka pala NCAA, nakatry din ako dun ng two years but mukhang di aasenso kaya stopped na sa college. nagconcentrate na lang kung paano maghanapbuhay : )

Jul-09-09  kramrich: hi pinoymaster. yup i played for DLSU sa UAAP then san beda sa NCAA...for scholarship din pero more focused sa studies and now sa work...pero parang im liking the challenge, kasi nga puro master n contemporaries ko...hehe gusto ko din mapakita sa wife ko what caliber of a player i was, kaya gusto ko magensayo and join tournaments uli...balitaan ko kayo s mnday anong mangyari sa laro ko 2mrw sa executive...God bless
Jul-09-09  kramrich: God bless to everyone tmrw sa laro sa meralco...have fun and do your best! everything for the glory of God! maganda yan for a cause pa...hopefully in the future makasama ako...ingat!
Jul-09-09  kramrich: sorry spawn 2, dapat yun hi pinoymaster and spawn2 hehe...ingat sir! God bless
Jul-09-09  spawn2: kramrich,

no problem sir. sayang di ka makakajoin tomorrow. goodluck with your games sa executive.

Jul-10-09  pinoymaster77: Ok kramrich, ok baka nagabot kayo ni Jojo sa San Beda, dun siya before college sa UP.

Will lookout for your kibitz on how the Exec tourney went. Will also lookout for your name in NM Marlon's feature.

Jul-10-09  pinoymaster77: spawn2, all the best mukhang kundisyon ka and preparado. Pakibitz o text on the hilites of the experience.

PARA Games
by rjsolcruz

The ASEAN PARALYMPICS-bound RP Para Team, led by partially blind Rudy Canonigo, won all the team matches in this single round 4-team 7-board event. BW, MERALCO, & LSGH won 1 match each but BW landed on 2nd spot with the best games points at 14.5.

PARA's Rudy Canonigo and Francis Ching scored a perfect 3 out of 3 vs MERACL, LSGH and BW. Comedian Abe Peligro and 2.5, Alexis Elinon tallied with 2.5 pts a piece. Melchor Pizarro, who won over NM Cabellon in MERALCO's VCR Cup simul last July 3, has 1.5, Rudy Sarmiento and Gigi Bilog with 1 pt each.

Thanks to GM Joey and GM Eugene for gracing this very simple event. You have inspired all of us with your humbleness and humility, which I believe is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, with your mere presence.

God bless.
