lostemperor: What happened with Shaked? I heard he got a regular job. Or was that Dlugy?

jaime gallegos: poor Smyslov with Max Euwe the unloved world champions. We must change that !

lostemperor: Tnx Ribeiro. He reminds me a bit of the young Pete Sampras. As a counterweight to those female chessbabes like Kosteniuk how about the best looking male chessplayer. I would say (but I'm not an expert on this) Shaked would be a candidate and perhaps Tkachiev (unfortunately no photo either yet). Any woman or man out there dare to comment:). He is certainly better looking than Smyslov. No?
Aug-30-03  sleepkid: ...when Paul Keres was young he was a pretty sharp looking guy.

lostemperor: Etienne Bacrot is looking pretty eh sharp too http://www.fide.com/ratings/card.ph... :)
Mar-16-04  Giancarlo: <Ribeiro>
Your first name wouldn't happen to be Bernardo would it? I think I may be currently playing a chess game with you at playchess.com. Are you from Brazil?
May-22-04  tomh72000: <He is certainly better looking than Smyslov. No?> lol, Smyslov's hair was his downfall. Tal Shaked looks like a young Mikhail Tal in this picture, no?
May-22-04  Calchexas: <tomh>: I'm sure Tal shaked in his grave when he heard that. (yeah, I know that manages to be grammatically incorrect and a bad joke at the same time.)
May-23-04  tomh72000: <I'm sure Tal shaked in his grave when he heard that> lol <Calchexas> Chess humour just doesn't work, does it?
Feb-08-05  Backward Development: 'shaked not stirred'
to continue with our incorrect puns...
Feb-22-05  aw1988: Tal Shaked isn't a name. It's a verb. :)

  offramp: It is a sentence.

It is also a drink.

May-11-05  soberknight: Sorry to spoil your fun, especially since I live in a Eduard Glass house. Tal is a Hebrew name that means "dew." Shaked is a Hebrew surname pronounced Sha-kaid, which, as I remember, means P Almond.
Jun-10-05  Knight13: Did Tal got Shaked by something(or someone)?
Jun-10-05  TheSlid: <Knight13> Are you Knight 14 yet?
Jun-10-05  Knight13: <TheSlid> No, I am still 13 ;)

Jun-10-05  TheSlid: <Knight13> Did the exams go OK?
Jun-10-05  Knight13: <TheSlid> What exams?
Jun-10-05  TheSlid: <Knight13> Maybe they were a while ago, you didn't post much and mentioned something about school
Jun-10-05  Knight13: <TheSlid> I don't remember much.... But I remeber that I got straight "A"s on my report card last grading period. I'm hoping to get at least 5 "A"s and 1 B on this grading period.
Jun-10-05  aw1988: That's great. Good job!
