Nov-01-20  Big Pawn: In 2016 I made an observation about the election. I said that the polls which showed Trump was way down, didn't matter because his rallies were attended like rock concerts every single time, while Hillary's were a pathetic joke.

I was right.

It's even more so now. There is no good reason at all, whatsoever, to think that Trump should lose this election. Biden has zero enthusiasm behind his campaign, he's been lazy about campaigning, he's got no one showing up, no excitement, no nothing.

It's not like both Biden and Trump are drawing 25,000 people to each rally and we just can't tell who's going to win, because it's so close, all the way down the line, neck and neck.

There's just no good reason to think Biden would have even a chance to win, going by what we see in reality.

The polls are there to justify an attempt to win by voter fraud. They can say, "Well, the polls did have Biden ahead..."

Nov-01-20  thegoodanarchist: < diceman: Even Romney voted for impeachment. >

Not possible. The House votes on impeachment, and Romney is a Senator.

Maybe he voted to convict.

Nov-01-20  thegoodanarchist: < diceman: <<<Big Pawn:

let's not put Romney on the right for any reason>>>

My sentiments, but he was elected to run against Obama, and elected by Utah.>

Utah is super-cucked.

Nov-01-20  thegoodanarchist: < Big Pawn: In 2016 I made an observation about the election. I said that the polls which showed Trump was way down, didn't matter...>

2016 was a wake up call on a lot of things. Polling is one of them. It used to be accurate and useful. In fact, I think Nate Silver got every election right except the 2016 one.

A google search for his website puts fivethirtyeight.com at the top of page 1, with the following description:

<Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight uses statistical analysis — hard numbers — to tell compelling stories about elections...>

But the problem is, garbage in yields garbage out for any analysis, including statistical. You have to have valid data to make reasonable projections. And Silver doesn't do the actual polling himself, he gets the results from professional pollsters.

So why did he get everything right before 2016, and get 2016 quite wrong?

This question can be answered by asking 2 other questions: Who are the customers of the professional pollsters? How do professional pollsters get their results?

The answer to question 1 is that the customers are mainstream media, not John Q Public. Back when the mainstream media pretended to be non-partisan (that is, back when the corrupt elites controlled the GOP, so the MSM pretended to be non-partisan because the GOP was half of the uni-party), then polls were accurate because the GOP candidate was almost as much of an evil Leftist as the Dem candidate. (for example, Romney in 2012, who voted to convict Donald Trump in January 2020.)

Now the MSM is actively working for the Left, so instead of wanting accurate polling, they want what is called "suppression polling" by the pro pollsters. They want to discourage Trump supporters from voting, make us think it is hopeless. Since pro pollsters will get paid for this, they skew their sampling to get the results that the Dem-supporting MSM want to publish: Farcically huge leads for Biden. You have to be a moron or a Kool-Aid drinking Lib to think that Biden is actually 15% more popular than Trump among Americans.

Answer to second question: They get their data via phone. Used to be nearly every household had a telephone land line. Getting representative samples was much easier then. Nowadays, with cell phone-only households being a large percentage of American households, it makes getting a representative sample more difficult, according to a pro pollster I heard interviewed on the radio.

Now here is an interesting headline: <Trump Can Still Win, But The Polls Would Have To Be Off By Way More Than In 2016>

https://fivethirtyeight.com/feature...

I have no reason to think the polls are NOT further off than 2016, because the MSM is more virulently anti-Trump than in 2016.

Nov-02-20  rabarbaro: Trump will host a rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Is this the desperate action of a man who is behind in the polls, or the action of a man who is striking a dagger into the heart of his opponent to seal victory?
Nov-02-20  Big Pawn: If Trump has the election stolen from him with the planned mail in voter chaos, then he should not go quietly. There's no way we can go from the greatest president since Andrew Jackson to such a cliche politician in Joe Biden, who is thoroughly inept and unfit for the job. Everything him and Obama touched turned to crap.

I think the American people might not accept a stolen election and go home quietly, and they shouldn't. Trump should stay in office and consolidate the military under his leadership between now and January if election fraud is in play.

Trump is getting 30,000 people at his fourth rally of the day. Biden is in his basement with his mask on, old, feeble, broken and not up to the task. No one is coming to see Joe Biden at his rallies.

If Trump doesn't win with over 300 electoral votes, you know he had to overcome massive voter fraud efforts.

When the libs hear the words "alpha male" they think of this guy.

Nov-02-20  thegoodanarchist: Can't remember if I brought this up before, but I think Trump had a PERFECT response to an MSM reporter who demanded to know why Trump keeps calling Joe Biden a criminal.

Trump said "Because he is a criminal and he got caught. And you're a criminal for not reporting it."

Ha! Either they can't skewer Trump with the loaded question tape, or if they do air it, then they have to cut it in mid sentence to avoid getting revealed as covering up the corruption.

<Big Pawn: Philosophical thought of the week: Which is worse, arrogance or false modesty?>

I would probably go with <OCF> on this for the same reason he states. I can think of situations where false modesty seems more appropriate but thinking it over, this would be situations where not everyone is aware that it is actually <false> modesty. However, both types of people can be obnoxious.

I am aware that I owe a reply on the old discussion - I had an unexpected funeral in the family and I never got around to cg.com again. Will come in due course.

On another note: how do you normally spend election day? In the family, with friends? In current situation, maybe not so easy to make it a social event. And what with the social climate, can you sit together, democrat and republican voters? In European media we hear about families torn apart by political disagreements but it might be exaggerations to make a story...

Thanks for the link, <Ohio>. Tucker nailed it. A vote for Trump is a vote against the corrupt and evil Washington swamp.

It is obvious to an objective observer that Joe Biden and his family are as corrupt as any 3rd world tin pot dictator ever was. And if HRC hadn't acid-washed her server, and instead had left it at a repair shop and forgotten about it, we would probably find out she is just as bad. Same for Pelosi. They are all corrupted to the same level as their power.

And I suspect 99% of Congress is corrupted to their own levels of power.

One of the problems is that now the FBI is corrupt. In the early days, we could count on the FBI to fight the corruption, to create stings to catch crooked congressmen. At some point in the past 30 years, the FBI was flipped and now it is no better than Congress, as far as what I can find from available information.

There are many restrictions depending on how lib/Democrat your state is.

I heard in California Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to (or has) limit Thanksgiving to 6 people.

They have a limit of 30 for a funeral.
So a woman announced on Thanksgiving day, she would be holding a funeral for her dead turkey!

<can you sit together, democrat and republican voters?>

As long as the republican shuts up.

Great scene from Wolf of Wall Street!>

It is amazing how "Goodfellas" that movie is. (same director)

Even DiCaprio's narration sounds like Ray Liotta.

Nov-03-20  diceman: Wow, scary stuff.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CN-...

Good stuff: The opening showing a Trump Arizona car rally.

Interesting:

11:00 to 14:00
Sydney Powell

19:00 to 27:00
Giuliani on the prosecution of the Biden crime family.

Apparently there is also pedophile stuff on the Biden hard-drive. (What a shocker!)

Scary stuff:

1:22:00 to 1:28:00

1:33:00 to 1:58:00

There is apparently software moved from the CIA to our voting system to change election results.

It was used in 2012 with Obama/Biden.

It was to be used to take out Trump in 2016 but something went wrong.

Obviously it is in the works for tonight.

These guys haven't explained the who/what/where but they seem confident the proper people know about it and will
stop it.

Since Bannon worked for Trump, I would imagine Trump knows.

It appears if Trump wins, an immediate prosecution of the Biden family will be underway, along with a gutting of the FBI/CIA/NSA/Military brass, who are involved in these corrupt, anti-American operations.

Nov-03-20  diceman: Too late, the Nazis shut it down.

I would accuse you of joking, if it wasn't California.

On a related note, I live in Idaho. Many many many Californians have fled California for Texas, Montana, and Idaho. We are overrun here with Cali license plates, and Californians jacking up our property costs by paying up huge amounts for houses everywhere. It is happening in Texas and Montana and probably Nevada too.

There is a backlash, though. Today I saw a bumper sticker:

<If Socialism worked
You would still be in California>

Nov-03-20  thegoodanarchist: Hey <Bee Pee>,

I went on youtube at 7 PM Eastern Time. Every major network but Fox was live streaming election coverage. FNC just has a map. No audio.

FYI.

Nov-03-20  Big Pawn: A parade for Trump in Nigeria!

https://fb.watch/1xKbdS9r7D/

Nov-03-20  Big Pawn: <tga>, you have internet, so you pay for cable, right? Just go to the FOX NEWS website and watch live. It will make you sign in to your provider first, but then you can watch live.

I'm not even watching it.

I figure Trump, in a fair and honest election, wins this by 100 miles. If that doesn't happen, then the fix is in and that wouldn't surprise me either.

Either way, Trump already appointed 3 judges to the court and got half the wall built, so it's not a consequential as the previous election. Not to mention, I heard today that the Senate may flip to D, so if that happens, Trump would be lame duck anyway.

Let's hope Trump wins so that it will prove that the system isn't corrupt beyond saving.

Nov-03-20  Big Pawn: <Keyser>, I noticed the Rogoff page has no libs right now. Why is that? Trump is leading a little bit, but it's way too close to call right now imo.
Nov-03-20  Big Pawn: FOX just called (11:47 EST) OHIO for Trump.
Nov-04-20  Big Pawn: Texas was just called for Trump.
