| Oct-22-07 | | malthrope: <Sneaky: <td> I'm catching up to you!!! The sick thing is, that all this time I've been trying to move in the other direction.> Hehehe... <Sneaky> - no one catches up to <TD> as he's got the cellar locked up tight and he has the only key! ~lol~ Plus, he hasn't been complaining recently about making any 'bad bets!' :^) Chess Bookie - great move adding the ETC tournament in Crete for betting! Don't forget to add the 'Ivanchuk-Leko' 12 game Blitz Rapids Match (10 min/+10 sec) in Mukachevo, Ukraine (October 25-28)... // http://www.ivanchuk-leko2007.com/en... Should be loads of fast action fun! :-) - Mal
PS: Page -100- for the Chess Bookie Forum is now set in stone! :-))) |

| Oct-23-07 | | technical draw: Yeah, all, I'm sitting pretty comfortable now with at least 2 grand ahead (behind) the next guy. But <touch of knight> is making a move so I must be careful. <Sneaky> and <tartarsauce> are fading. When is this going to end??? |

| Oct-24-07 | | Micawbr: Hi CG Bookie!
Will you look into why I haven't received the 309 chessbucks due yesterday? Here is a cut-and-paste: Casino de Barcelona:
Rd 6: Daily Double : Nakamura/Illescas Cordoba [info] 15 LIVE BET 20:1 20.63 309 Oct-23-07 btw, the losing tickets are still on my screen too. Settlement date is yesterday. Refreshing, clearing the internet cache, and exiting and starting the brower all do not help. My machine is running very smoothly, no problems. I'd like to reboot but cannot for another 12-20 hours approximately, so I hope you can help. Thank you,
Tom

 | | Chessgames Bookie: <Micawbr> The problem was here on our end. Winning bets have now been paid out. |
|
| Oct-24-07 | | technical draw: <CB> What's a winning bet? |
|
| Oct-25-07 | | technical draw: Yipes! I'm outta the cellar. Nakamura lost, dat bum!
I picked up more than 2,000 bucks. Talk about swimming the ocean only to die on the beach. Well, theres still a chance I'm not too far back (or front). |
|
| Oct-26-07 | | technical draw: All is well again. I'm comfortably in last place where I belong. |

 | | Annie K.: <TD> wow, that's an impressive jump! What did you bet on? :) <Mal> I also "discovered" particularly Ian Nepomniachtchi and Yifan Hou a while back as interesting youngsters to keep an eye on. <Don't worry Mal loses his mind at least once a week> No problem as long as you find it in time for the next round. ;) Waiting to read about your Empire State building adventures btw! I've been there myself in December '99. :) <PS: Page -100- for the Chess Bookie Forum is now set in stone! :-)))> Err, somebody seems to have too much time on their hands? :p Maybe I should invite you to visit my home board JADE to give you something more interesting to do than count pages! ;) |

| Oct-26-07 | | technical draw: <Annie> Sorry, losers secrets! But I can tell you I have Luxembourg to win the Euro mens team championship. |
|
| Oct-26-07 | | Ragh: <I have Luxembourg to win the Euro mens team championship.> That's just a tip of iceberg from <Technical Draw's book of gambling secrets.> Beware! <Touch of Knight> looks like a determined contender. He's not just another random loser in the cellar.. |
|
| Oct-26-07 | | technical draw: <Ragh> Yes , I'm aware of <Touch of Knight> I've had to deal with him before. But I'm really worried is about <tartalacreme> he just doesn't want to go away. I got 2 grand difference again but I know thats not enough. |
|
| Oct-26-07 | | whiteshark: No odds for the Vatican ?? |
|
| Oct-26-07 | | zanshin: I see <Fredrik>'s on top again. What's he going to do if he wins again? He already won a premium membership that he's not using! Come on <Fredrik>, say something, anything ... ;-) |
|
| Oct-27-07 | | Micawbr: <TD>Sorry, losers secrets! But I can tell you I have Luxembourg to win the Euro mens team championship TD, Since you have Luxembourg all locked up maybe you should go out and buy a lottery ticket!! :-) Great things will happen if LUX whups everybody, but the lottery *just* might hit... Other than $100 on Chucky, I put all my chessbux including a handout from a pleasant gentleman called Mr. Loanshark, into the team matches. So if one of ten teams wins, I am even or I get a payday, maybe a big one, muy muy bux for Mr. Micawbr! However, it down the chute for me if one of the other teams wins, say, erm, Luxembourg ... |

However, it down the chute for me if one of the other teams wins, say, erm, Luxembourg ...> I must G-O-O-G-L-E Luxembourg now... OMG - someone please help me from betting on Luxembourg!!! ~lol~ <Annik K. <Mal> I also "discovered" particularly Ian Nepomniachtchi and Yifan Hou a while back as interesting youngsters to keep an eye on. > They will undoubtedly both become giants on the chessboard! <Annie K. ... <Mal> Waiting to read about your Empire State building adventures btw! I've been there myself in December '99. :)> I'm always a complete mental mess at the end of the month! :^) Blame it on the 'Chess Bookie' and all this insidious mad frenzy betting! <eek> Soon... :-))) <Mal ... PS: Page -100- for the Chess Bookie Forum is now set in stone! :-)))> ... <Annie K. ... Err, somebody seems to have too much time on their hands? :p Maybe I should invite you to visit my home board JADE to give you something more interesting to do than count pages! ;)> I cheated as I just read the numbers as given in Earlier/Later Kibitzing... ;-) Nice website, btw <Annie K.> :-) Less than 30 minutes left to bet on the ETC team results... Must resist betting on the Chess TEAM Luxembourg... Resistance is futile! ~ROFL~ :-))) Good Luck everyone! - Mal PS: I bet $1000 c-bucks on the Vatican... They have an angelic lineup! ;-) |

| Oct-27-07 | | Fredrik: <zanshin: I see <Fredrik>'s on top again. What's he going to do if he wins again? He already won a premium membership that he's not using! Come on <Fredrik>, say something, anything ... ;-)> OK, hi everyone! Finally time for my first kibitz, since you asked for it. It sure feels good to be on top again, although things tend to change quickly on top of the leaderboard. Anyhow I think you'll need more than 10000 cb in order to win this leg. |
|
| Oct-27-07 | | zanshin: <Fredrik: OK, hi everyone! Finally time for my first kibitz, since you asked for it.> <Fredrik> Aha, he speaks! ;-) Thanks for the reply. There was some speculation about who you were and why you were here the first time you won. So now we know! Some time you'll have to tell me how you play the chessbookie because I don't play it well ... Regards. |

 | | Annie K.: <Bookie> what's this about Rd 1: Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Ukraine being a tie? That's ridiculous! Either recognize the no-show win for Ukraine like the official site or refund the tickets please. PS - I accidentally pressed [discard ticket] while trying to enter the bet page to see what the "result" was if it wasn't a win according to you (that's the "info" link while the game is live) - so if you refund the tickets or recognize the win, please correct my net worth accordingly. Thanks. :) <Mal> Thanks! If you want to talk about the site, visit my chessforum, don't want to hijack this one. :) |
|
Oct-28-07
 | | chessgames.com: We are correcting the Bosnia-Ukraine bets now. If you already discarded a "losing" Ukraine ticket, don't worry, your account will be compensated accordingly. |

 | | Annie K.: Thanks CG! :) |

Oct-29-07
 | | Chnebelgrind: In the valuation of Ivanchuk-Leko the tiebreakers obviously are included. So the tie-bet never had a real winning chance! :( |
|
| Oct-29-07 | | TIMER: I am nearly half way to recovering my lost 10,000 chessbucks fortune, but more than half way considering being able to make bigger bets. Getting above 1500 again (I have gone up nearly 4000 chessbucks from the low I reached when technical draw was starting to worry..) has allowed me to spend 2.5 times more on my bets finally! As I now have nearly 8000 chessbucks wagered on live bets, I could end up first or last place, or anywhere in the middle! So no-one is safe just yet from me! |
|
| Oct-29-07 | | technical draw: You guys at the top should start worrying since I have two sure fire winners that will bring me 18,000 chessbucks. In the Men's Euro team Championship I have those two powerhouses Luxembourg and Monaco! So my days in the cellar are almost over. "I'm in the money..." |
