M. Adams - B. Gelfand: Adams is +4 -2 =11 against Gelfand, when Adams have white pieces.

if during middlegame you pick the winner you get a better ratio than if you bet on the better endgame side. One would need move-by-move odds recalculation, though. might invite many guys with automatic engine evaluation, like in real stock exchange...

  Chessgames Bookie: We sometimes offer "mid-game betting" during live events. We'll be sure to work that into at least some of the upcoming Corus upcoming games, possibly even one for tomorrow's duel between Carlsen and Eljanov.

Also, the Timmerman bet has re-opened until noon (EST) tomorrow.

S. Mamedyarov - V. Kramnik: Mamedyarov is +0 -0 =1 with white, when playing against Kramnik, however, Kramnik leads it +2 -1 =1 overall.

P. Eljanov - V. Anand: First OTB meeting between last year's group B winner and the current world champion.

M. Adams - M. Carlsen: Carlsen drew Adams in their 2007 World Chess Cup game (where Adams had white), overall, Carlsen is ahead with +3 -0 =2.

L. Aronian - P. Leko: Aronian is +1 -0 =4 against Leko, when Aronian have white, overall, Aronian leads it with +4 -1 =8 against Leko.

V. Ivanchuk - B. Gelfand: Two opponents who have faced each other lots, and lots of time, when Ivanchuk have white, he is +6 -1 =7. Overall, Ivanchuk is +14 -10 =29 against Gelfand.

J. Polgar - V. Topalov: Another pair of 'No Stranger to Each Other', Judit is +5 -5 =3 against Topalov when she have white, overall Topalov is +14 -11 =11 against Judit.

Leko - Ivanchuk: Two guys that have faced off against each other many, many times, Leko have a slim lead in the overall (+10 -8 =30), when Leko have white, he is +2 -0 =5 against Ivanchuk.

Carlsen - Aronian: Carlsen is +3 -3 =3 (include 2007 candidates rapid tie-breaker games), overall, Aronian is +8 -3 =13 against Carlsen.

Anand - Adams: Okay, talk about <owning> somebody, Anand have a overall lead of +26 -6 =39. When Anand have white, he is +14 -2 =11 against Adams.

Kramnik - Eljanov: First OTB encounter.

Radjabov - Mamedyarov: Overall, they are +0 -0 =4, their last meeting came in 2005 at the Presidents Cup.

V. Ivanchuk - V. Kramnik: Kramnik leads the over-allwith +20 -14 =40, with classical time control, and with white, Kramnik is +4 -4 =8.

V. Kramnik - J. Polgar: Kramnik have never lost to Judit! (over-all itis +20 -0 =16).

T. Radjabov - V. Ivanchuk: Radjabov is +2 -2 =6 against Ivanchuk when he's had white. Over-all, however, Ivanchuk have a small lead of +7 -6 =12.

S. Mamedyarov - L. Aronian: Get this, Shakhriyar and Levon have played 5 times previous, and each time Shakhriyar had white!!! (Someone notify the tournament directors!) The fives games, were all classical time control, and Aronian is +1 -0 =4.
