Chessgames Bookie: <kspiteri> Thanks, that bet is open now.
Oct-13-08  kspiteri: <Bookie> How about a bet on whether Anand will play 1.d4 or not before any possible tiebreaks? And another one about Kramnik playing 1.e4.

Stonehenge: Also possible is a Daily Double: Result of game / more or less than 40 (45) moves.
Oct-14-08  bharatiy: hey I need money loanshark is not behaving himself, he is not lending any, can someone lend me some?
Oct-14-08  bharatiy: Hi administrator, I did not get loan for two days he didn't offer me any chessbucks. Is there any way to get the money or I will be forced to create another account to get 1000 bucks. Thanks
Oct-15-08  danielpi: <bharatiy> I wouldn't do that if I were you. While you have given them clear and honest notice of your intention to open a new account -- the rules do clearly state that this would be a violation.

In other news, I am quite well on in the hunt for last place. Stupid Russian Superfinal. So many counterintuitive results -- just one right after the next. Disastrous. Hopefully the WCC will be more "well-behaved". Otherwise, I suppose I ought to be more committed to getting dead last.

Stonehenge: <bharatiy> You probably have some long-term bets, like the winner of the WCC. That means you're not broke so the loanshark won't give you much. Yes, the financiel crisis is everywhere :)
Oct-15-08  bharatiy: thanks danielpi and Stonehenge for advice and explanation I will be law abiding netizen and wont open another account, but that means I am loosing some chance of gaining money. Life is cruel for law abiding people though!!
Oct-15-08  NakoSonorense: I can't wait for the next update in the standing list.

Currently, I'm in position 250, but (if nothing changes in the upper section, which I doubt) in the next list I'll be in 8th overall!

I just hopped through 242 places! xD

Oct-17-08  camachoe: Comming back to top 10!!!
Oct-17-08  bharatiy: Hi are you settling the first blood bet now?

Oct-18-08  technical draw: Wait a minute. What is <malthorpe> doing in the 290th position? He was a contender.

<Pay no attention to my current low score on the <ChessBookie> betting game, atm. I'm still having <fun> all the same! ;)>

I'm always within striking range! ;) As soon as <ChessBookie> adds betting for the European Club Cup in Kallithea, Greece (Oct 16th-24th) - I'll be back in business! ~lol~ :^) - Mal

Oct-19-08  brankat: <malthrope> By the time the Bookie finds out there is the European CC happening, then thinks it over to decide whether to add it to the card the Cup will be over.

So many long shots wasted, fat Pick-3s not cashed in :-)

Oct-19-08  brankat: <malthrope> Good work my friend. You may want to consider applying for a job with CG :-)

Hehehe... I'm doing what I can to keep us all entertained! ;) Can you imagine a WCC match with no Petroff's or Catalan's and only a one game decisive score of +1 and =11?! ~lol~ Nail biting - Yes! Entertaining - Not! Need I say anything more... <grin> - Mal

Oct-19-08  technical draw: <malthrope> Just re-read your bio. Fascinating reading! Looking forward to your writings on the Fischer experience.

Thanks <TD> :))

Oct-19-08  artyom2008: can you add euro cup
Oct-20-08  bharatiy: Is it only me or everyone else? I can't bet more than 200. Now having more to bet I would like to. Also is it a good strategy to return the loan of the shark or just keep it. Anyway we don't pay that much interest and use it if needed. Thanks
Oct-20-08  technical draw: Darn Kramnik! He's cost me big bucks and dropped me out of the top ten. Ok, one more chance, here's another 100 on Kramnik.
