 | | Chessgames Bookie: Wagering on the 1st round of the Nalchik FIDE Grand Prix Tournament is now open. |
Apr-15-09 | | DCP23: <notyetagm> I didn't say that Svidler *will* win the event (though he might of course), so I don't see how you can hold my words against me no matter what happens. Anyway, that Svidler is Topalov's exact opposite is the best thing you've ever said, <notyetagm> ;) |

When comparing their <FIGHTING SPIRIT>, that is the biggest insult imaginable. :-) |

Apr-17-09 | | wordfunph: <Chessgames Bookie> Why is it that I was not given my $110 payout when Aronian won over Akopian in the second round? My bet was $50 but it seems my $110 payout was put on hold? Please check. Thank you. |
Apr-17-09
 | | Chessgames Bookie: <wordfunph> Thanks for pointing that out. That ticket has been paid off now. |
Apr-18-09 | | wordfunph: <Chessgames Bookie> Welcome and thanks.. |
Apr-24-09 | | leg in droll: <Chessgames Bookie> you did not given or taken from all the round 8 results? karjakin-grischuk and select 3 have no result in my accnt. |
Apr-24-09 | | kspiteri: <leg in droll> That is because Karjakin-Grischuk was a long game, and it was not over at the time Bookie updated the results. I guess the results will be updated today. |
Apr-24-09 | | leg in droll: thanks, updated now. |
Apr-24-09

 | | moronovich: <Chessgame bookie> Here is an idea for betting , if you need some change sometime.Betting on THE LAST MOVE !..
In the sense of hitting the final SQUARE - which should leave us with 64 possibilities. The mainadvantage is IMO , that the player(the "gambler"! )will have his/her chances and thrill throughout the whole game. The backside is probably the absence of classical knowledge about players ,form, motivation and so on, but why not open up for those who are more to the lucky side !?... (Though I dont know if some of the 64 squares are more used as final than others. So it is most likely to be.E.g. f3/f6 more often than h8/a8). I hope you will give it a thought.
Best wishes, moronovich. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: <moronovich> We have added a proposition somewhat similar to your suggestion. Nalchik: R 12: Karjakin vs Svidler: First Piece Off |
Apr-27-09
 | | moronovich: <Chessgames Bookie> Brilliant ! Thanks , and now I am forced to wager myself ;)- and so be it. |
May-08-09 | | DrStrangemove: I would like to see ChessBookie cover the individual games of the US Championship. |
May-10-09
 | | Chessgames Bookie: <DrStrangemove> We have added wagering on the top 4 boards of the 3rd round of the tournament, and we'll also have betting on the remainding rounds of the event. |

May-14-09 | | technical draw: How do you know when you win a bet? All I see is LOSE, LOSE and sometimes LOSE. But that's OK I'm taking it like a man, aaaarrrggghhh! |

May-16-09 | | malthrope: <technical draw: How do you know when you win a bet? All I see is LOSE, LOSE and sometimes LOSE. But that's OK I'm taking it like a man, aaaarrrggghhh!> <TD> I can't believe how your <LOSING> bets have been influencing my <LOSING> bets? It's simply uncanny! ;) Or, is it the other way around? ~lol~ Your betting pal, - Mal (#383 on the Big board reporting in...) |
May-16-09 | | technical draw: That's OK <mal> as we work our way up we can listen to this inspiring piece by Tchaikovsky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oy-b... |
May-16-09 | | NakoSonorense: Hahahaha... You losers! |

May-16-09 | | Sicilian Dragon: <NakoSonorense> I would be talking lol...

May-16-09 | | technical draw: <mal> I think I hear some muffled rumblings from a certain <-1,622 @ no.380.> but I'm not sure. Sometimes being in this part of hades can cause hallucinations. |
May-16-09 | | whiteshark: He who laughs last laughs longest. :D:D:D |
May-16-09 | | technical draw: Thanks <Sicilian Dragon> our posts crossed. Don't pay any attention to Sr.380. The lack of oxygen down here affects the brain! |
May-16-09 | | malthrope: <technical draw: That's OK <mal> as we work our way up we can listen to this inspiring piece by Tchaikovsky: [Youtube]> You sure can pick 'um <TD>! ;) Been listening to Tchaikovsky since I was a kid. Starting with the ever facinating story and music of "Peter and the Wolf." :) Speaking of wolves... Looks like #380 on the Big totem board with - $1,622 negatative c-bucks is trying to taunt us! ~lol~ Fat chance! :P |
