Dec-07-11  dakgootje: <<dakgootje> What pun?>

Leg-end, legend - too obscure? Ah well, can't have everthing ;D

<<dakgoot> corny but i compliment that with "lol!">

hehehe - well, it's not as if I could refrain from posting when I thought of it; it fit just too well :P

Dec-07-11  technical draw: Now I get it. I saw the bookie in a movie, "My name is leg-end". (ok, corny too.)

moronovich: Who cares about his leg-acy !?

Worse with Usain Bolt. When he travels he allways suffer from Jetlegs.

Only cure is listen to the Beatles :"Leg it Be".

SwitchingQuylthulg: <Penguincw: Is the London Chess Classic (2011) tournament going to be the last tournament for betting?>

That's a legitimate question. Tata starts on January 13, and I doubt <Bookie> wants to keep this game in limbo for a month, so I'd guess we'll finish with the Women's World Team Champs.

Ok. Thanks.

Dec-08-11  technical draw: Picked up 300cbs this round. I have to bet bigger if I want to win a prize but I have what is known as "scared money". I have to make bigger bets but I'm afraid if I lose I'll drop out of the top ten. This is a gambler's dilemma.
Dec-08-11  TheFocus: <TD> I hear ya.

I am bleeding chess buckss all over the place.

My picks in Winner and Quinella may not make it and I bet big there. Woe is me!

  Penguincw: Two things.

Penguincw: Don't forget to pay out Round 7.
Dec-11-11  redribbon3700: Who is betting currently?
Dec-11-11  wordfunph: 5 hours to gametime and still no paychecks from round 7 :(
Dec-11-11  moulicules: Administrator: not yet pay-out?
Dec-11-11  moulicules: Administrator: Don't forget to pay us!We've got 2 hrs remaining for round 8! Thanks!
Dec-12-11  technical draw: If there's going to be another round then I'll need the Kramnik-Nakamura quinella. Go Hikaru!
Dec-12-11  dakgootje: Ugh, would've scored big if Adams would not have thrown away the win. And completely blunder the position instead.

Why am I never on the gaining-side in these cases?

--

Enough of the complaining. Lets praise mister loanshark and his terrible memory instead.

Dec-12-11  technical draw: Goody, I picked up the quinella and Kramnik to win. Let's see what happens in the next round.
