Jan-26-12  4tmac: What ever happened to Chnebel & Switch ?!?
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: Just an obs. On an empty pick I bet 2c$ with 14k payoff. On another empty pick both P3, I bet 4c$. The payoff is 9k. More bet has less payoff?

SwitchingQuylthulg: <bubuli55> Sounds like the other pick either wasn't empty after all, or someone else almost simultaneously bet c$2 on it :)
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: Never mind. Somebody just made a 2 c$ bet on that pick too
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: You are exactly right < SQ > :)
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: 39k c$! < SQ> doesn't blink. He doesn't hesitate. He knows what he's doing! :)
Jan-26-12  wordfunph: Round 11:

Gashimov - Radjabov

possible patriotic draw?

Jan-26-12  bubuli55: Is today read day?

WannaBe: Yes, today is read day.
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: Thx:)
Jan-26-12  bubuli55: Somebody just dropped 100c$ on my 2c$ bets. Legal but throws me wayward :) how can I sneak on these guys?
Jan-26-12  dakgootje: Well - for starts you should always assume more money is coming in on your side. Certainly when there is still a lot of time left - especially when the odds look way too good.

You'll hardly ever get much better odds than 100:1 ;)

Jan-26-12  fan of chess: is today a rest day or something cause im getting no pay check.

Penguincw: < fan of chess: is today a rest day or something cause im getting no pay check. >

Me neither (I never wagered anything).

Anyways, yes today IS a rest day. This tournament follows a 4-4-2-3 format (4 days of play, rest, 4 days of play, rest, two days of play, rest, 3 days of play, done). May not be the best though.

Jan-26-12  technical draw: I finally figured it out. In that bet confirmation photo the actors are (from L to R): <WannaBe>, <NakoSonorense>, <jessicafischerqueen>, and <El Predicto>. Nice detective work, right?
Jan-26-12  dakgootje: I just had to wager several hundred c$ to see the picture.

Totally worth it.

Jan-26-12  whiteshark: <Bookie> I'd like to bet on <Loek van Wely> that he'll draw the remaining 3 games at Tatasteel and thus finishing <+0 -0 =13>

rd 11: Van Wely, L. - Karjakin, S.
rd 12: Nakamura, H. - Van Wely, L.
rd 13: Van Wely, L. - Carlsen, M.

Tough opponents, but no risk no fun.

Jan-26-12  TheFocus: Presently, I am at:

186. TheFocus -1,302

But I feel that my luck is about to change.

No where to go but up. Or farther down. Or sideways.

I am so far down the list, when I look up, I can see a snake's belly.

WannaBe: <technical draw> I'm the guy on the left?! Are you nuts? Do I really look that handsome?

And Maria Sharapova won't go out with me, Wow, go figure!

Jan-27-12  Golden Executive: Wow!

<(1) SwitchingQuylthulg 39,541>

Did not he finish last in the previous leg?

Well, all or nothing is always a choice.

I like that! (in a virtual world of course).
