Penguincw: Loss 700 today. There goes by chance of honour. However, good thing I took out a loan, just in case.
Jan-27-12  dakgootje: It's good they are having fun, instead of drawing on move 25.

It would also be nice if I could make a profit though.

Jan-27-12  WinKing: Should move up a few notches after a pretty good day.

Now, pay up!

Jan-27-12  technical draw: <Diademas> I bet 20cbs so there's still 19 cbs unaccounted for.

<WinKing: <technical draw: <Diademas> I bet 20cbs so there's still 19 cbs unaccounted for.> I had 2 so that makes 17 unaccounted for.>

I had 10, so then 7 unaccounted for.

FUNDS: <0 chessbucks> LOAN: 100
Can't I borrow some more, Mr. Loanshark??
(Fortunately I still have my 100c$ bet on Harikrishna, so hopefully he'll manage to win the B group)
Jan-27-12  dakgootje: <LDJ> You'll have to write the bookie a letter concerning the symptoms of a gambling addition - and how you can prevent one. Also, you have to promise the loanshark you will not throw away any more of his cash.

or you could wait until tomorrow, when you can take a brand new loan.

Jan-27-12  wordfunph: bloody 11th round, only Gata-Naka game ended peacefully and so that's good news :)
Jan-27-12  fan of chess: aww. why does it have to be so hard?

Jan-28-12  technical draw: Flash from the past!!:

<Aug-15-07

technical draw: Well, "El Predicto" does it again and the 1000 point Dow drop is fait accompli. Now if I can just get a grip on the chessbookie game...>

It took him 4 1/2 years but I think El Predicto finally got a grip on the chessbookie game.

(However, it ain't over til it's over and there are always last round surprises where someone comes out of nowhere to win it all)
