  chessgames.com: A few things here:

First, some old errata, am I to understand that people STILL haven't been paid off correctly for Aeroflot Open Rd3: PICK THREE?

We tried to fix that, in fact you can see the official winner has been switched, but possibly there was a problem in how losing tickets were converted into winners. If somebody is having problems we'll happily look into it. As I recall there were only a handful of winners here so in the worst case it's no big deal to review every person effected one by one.

Next question, are there any <bets> on the horizon? I keep learning about relatively minor events like the ACP Women's Cup and the Chebanenko Memorial, only after they've begun or even finished. If anybody sees a good event that's coming up soon please let me know and I'll be happy to put some wagers up.

  Penguincw: <Events>

All I see is the Polish Championship, currently in Round 5 of 9.

The only problem is that I can't find the pairings. Hopefully someone can find it, or at least speak Polish. :)

Penguincw: Oops. I forgot to mention. In less than two weeks, the Reykjavik Open begins. You can at least do one for winner. Caruana and Navara will participate.

No, you paid that off correctly in the end :) <Penguincw> was just saying it only happened when the matter was brought up in the Member Support Forum.

Penguincw: It's official. I lose at least 87. I regret not looking at the standings first. :(
Feb-25-12  dakgootje: New objective: bridge the gap to <TD> ;)

Roughly 6.1k difference at moment of writing - but that should decrease after this round has been paid out :)

chessgames.com: Is round 9 the final round, and if so, does it start earlier than the others? We put a cutoff at 6:00am EST until we learn otherwise.
Feb-25-12  dakgootje: Round 9 is the final round indeed. It starts 6 hours earlier, don't really know what that is in EST.

Former rounds are given to have started at 3pm; round-9 starts at 9am. Suppose both are gmt+1 which would make it.. something like 3am EST?

Feb-25-12
Premium Chessgames Member
Penguincw: Yep it's the final round, as noted on http://www.2700chess.com/. Also, I believe it does start at 3am. I can tell you that. We don't want a repeat of WWTC. :)
Feb-25-12  wordfunph: wowww 3 draws!

happy Sunday to all..
