| May-08-18 | | sydbarrett: I hope draw-draw-draw wins in pick 3. Because I know I'd have bet on the other stuff and therefore I avoided losing chessbucks by not betting |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: Pick Three Rd.7: Draw-Draw-White 88:1 payout! Congrats to the lucky few that chose correctly! |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: I have been in contact with <chessgames>
in regards to Payday. Payday for this Spring Leg will come after the Capablanca Memorial tournament which ends May 20th. This will give everyone that made at least one bet(this leg) 1,000 extra chessbucks going into the Norway Chess tournament. So that means that Payday will be on about May 21st or May 22nd. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: As far as the 53rd Capablanca Memorial tournament goes I will have some bets up as soon as the pairings become available. I have done this tournament before & if I recall correctly they were late with the 1st round pairings & we missed the first round last year. I see chess24 has changed their line-up & <GM Yusnel Bacallao Alonso 2594 CUB> is back in & <GM Eduardo Patricio Iturrizaga Bonelli 2652 VEN> is out. These tournament organizers know how to make a person dizzy. |
| May-08-18 | | morfishine: Great Job <Chessgames Bookie> staying on top of payouts, etc.! I was one of the lucky ones scoring on the P3 DDW This segment of <CG> sure does add a lot to the "fun factor"! Bravo <CG>! |
| May-08-18 | | Count Wedgemore: <morfishine: Great Job <Chessgames Bookie>> Yes, <WinKing> is doing a great job, no doubt. And so did <Annie K.> in the Chamoionship leg. I must say the bookies in this game are really doing an excellent job staying on top of things, which cannot be easy given the inadequate information provided by the organizers of chess tournaments. I mean, aren't we supposed to live at the height of the so-called information age? It's a shame, really. |
| May-08-18 | | WinKing: Thanks guys! You have to love the ChessBookie game & love the game of chess to be a Chessgames Bookie. That's the only way it will work. ;) |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: Just noticed the Round 6 game of the Women's World Championship does not take place until Saturday, May 12th. They are taking an extended break after the first five games. I have adjusted the starting time for Round 6 accordingly. http://china2018.fide.com/en/compon... |

| May-10-18 | | sydbarrett: I just bet all I had AND loanshark money. It's death or glory for me in the next few hours |

May-10-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: 'The charge of the light brigade'. Good luck <sydbarrett>! |
| May-11-18 | | sydbarrett: Thanks <Chessgames Bookie>. Your well wishes have brought me to a loftier perch |
| May-11-18 | | sydbarrett: Is Shankland juicing? If he wins I lose 420 precious chessbucks |
May-13-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Tomorrow, Monday 5/14, is a rest day for both the WWC match & the Capablanca Memorial. Play will resume on Tuesday, May 15th for both. |

May-13-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Happy Mother's Day to all of our members who are mothers. |
| May-13-18 | | sydbarrett: May the prize of today's Pick Three go to the greatest mother among us. =) |
May-13-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: The 'PICK THREE' pot is growing fast! I $uspect we will $ee a little movement on the Leaderboard today. ;) |
| May-13-18 | | sydbarrett: I invested $1700+ on that pick three on 27 different outcomes. Looks like the smallest payoff available to me will pay. I am not the greatest mother here :,,( |
May-13-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Looking like either W-D-W or D-D-W. Too early to tell. |
| May-13-18 | | Count Wedgemore: Looks like W-D-W now, which will probably mean that the biggest dive in the standings will be mine. They say that fortune favors the bold..but clearly, that's a load of crap :) Guess I'll focus on ending this leg on a plus score from now on. I will root for <syd> and <moro> now. Go guys! |
| May-13-18 | | sydbarrett: Shankman I will never forgive you for this |
| May-13-18 | | Count Wedgemore: Wow, <OhioChessFan> has jumped to 4th! So strike that last post, I will now root for my good friends <OCF>, <moro> and <syd> from now on. May the Force be with you! <sydbarrett: Shankman I will never forgive you for this> While you may never forgive Shanks, I will never forgive Guijarro. I mean, 12...Qb6? What's up with that? 12...dxe4 followed by ...e5 completely equalizes! This guy is now officially on my blacklist. |
| May-13-18 | | sydbarrett: <Count Wedgemore> I'll analyze that game now to see what you mean. All Shankman had to do was not shank his opponent (W-D-D, or W-D-B), and I'd have $3000-4000 back. In fact, I had like 13-20 outcomes or something that paid in that range. Shanks has broken the code of honor, and now he better watch his back! |
