OhioChessFan: I hit the Pick 3 for 200. I was shocked what kind of odds such a reasonable set of picks gave me.
May-13-18  sydbarrett: <Count Wedgemore> your debt is surmountable. I was down -$200 at one point and I was right back in it in two weeks

Chessgames Bookie: Norway is just around the corner gentlemen. All deficits here are surmountable. A lot of members will be signing up to play as they always do when the 'big daddy' tournament arrives. Ahhhh...the smell of new money joining the party. I can already sense the wolf pack circling.
May-13-18  Count Wedgemore: <sydbarrett: <Count Wedgemore> your debt is surmountable.>

I will give it a try, <syd>. I just hope the loanshark will be considerate and not send his goons after me!

<OhioChessFan: I hit the Pick 3 for 200.> 200 at 9:1 odds: well played, <OCF>. That W-D-W line was definitely underplayed. I bet on several other lines, 'cause I was pretty certain Guijarro would hold Dreev to at least a draw. Shows how much I know. Oh well, now he is in my black book..

And thanks for lifting my spirits, <CG-Bookie>. I'd forgotten all about the 1k payout coming up. Norway Chess is going to be a lot of fun!

Chessgames Bookie: Tomorrow, Saturday 5/19, is the final Round 10 of the 53rd Capablanca Memorial. I will try to have Payday distributed out on Monday 5/21. The next tournament scheduled is Norway Chess which starts on Monday May 28th.. There will be a short break but I hope to find a few quality games that we can bet on before Norway. I will definitely have a Pick the Winner bet for Norway up shortly after Payday.
May-19-18  morfishine: Holy smokes, <wallytherhino> was at +5000 then lost it all and plummeted to -3,000 and now is back to +4600

Thats some crazy stuff

May-19-18  WinKing: The man knows how to play this game.
May-19-18  sydbarrett: -3000? get out. you exaggerate hahaha
I usually hit a few nice pick three jackpots a season. Not so far this season. So. Frustrating. P.S. Adding some bets before Norway sounds great to me.

Depends what's available. Maybe some maybe none. We'll see.

May-20-18  morfishine: <FSR> I didn't realize <wally> had gotten that many chess bucks. I may have to leverage more [ie: visit the loan shark] lol

D-D-D, D-D-W OR D-D-B

...some big chessbucks up for grabs!

Chessgames Bookie: <EIDorado: How long does the Spring Leg last?>

I have it ending on June 24th <EIDorado> with the Grand Chess Tour(Blitz) tournament which takes place in France. Usually we try to go to the end of June but right now I don't see any tournaments scheduled for the last week in June. *Unless* a tournament pops up between now & then June 24th will be the last day. This could change though.

offramp: The picture looks like Tom Waits's smarter brother.

It would be much funnier, even hilarious, if you used a picture of Tom Waits's big sister, Grunhild. A menacing woman. Unfortunately I do not have a photo.
