 | | OhioChessFan: ** Final Recap **
An exciting finish to our titanic struggle. Chessgames.com almost crashed due to the traffic following the Karjakin-Caruana game and this contest. <GE> and <chessmoron> almost forgot to turn in their picks in the midst of their Mutual Admiration Socieity Meeting. <Karposian> was rumored to be calling the Suicide Prevention Hotline after finishing behind <Penguincw> in 3 rankers. He found small comfort in tying in the 4th. <Switch> ended a fantastic tournament and held on for one gold in the Moves Ranker, and silver in the other 3 rankers. <WinKing> took home gold in Bonus Ranker, and by one point took gold in the Moves+Bonus Ranker. <OhioChessFan> proved that cream rises as he won the #1 Ranker gold, along with a silver and bronze. <juan31> took home 3 bronze, and <GE> brought home one bronze. Thanks to <chessmoron> and <GE> for scoring. Thanks to all the competitors and to the tournament players for entertaining us. |
