 | | Domdaniel: Hi <Sneaky>
I saw this one coming:
<Sneaky: <Sneaky's diaphragm> LOL let's not go there>
... and it still had me making weird gurgling noises for several seconds. We must compile an English-as-she-is-spoke file someday soon. Regards... |

| Sep-26-06 | | shr0pshire: <Sneaky> I respect your opinion and your play enough to agree to disagree with you. :) I certainly can see why you think that Topalov had a stronger position in the second game, but I just don't agree with you that is all. Now, I think Kramnik is going to try to draw the rest of the games. I will be surprised if there is a single decisive game left in the 9 games remaining. |

| Sep-27-06 | | shr0pshire: <Sneaky> Being the venerable chess player that you are you might already know this so forgive me if you already know this. While I was playing <Swapmeet> from chessgames.com on FICS last night I noticed there was a thing called nukebot watching our games (since I am paranoid and I like to know who is watching my games at all times). :) I fingered it and it said it was a python both that gathered games for an online database at wildchess.org. So then I went over to wildchess.org and I searched for my name under the standard variant and I found two games between myself and you. I just wanted you to know that some of your games are up online, and that I didn't put them there. :) And like me you would likely want to know that. |

 | | Sneaky: Wow, cool! Thanks for that. Here's the famous Sneaky-Shropshire game: http://www.wildchess.org/showgame.p... I had a better position but was unclear on how I'd actually cash in, until shrop was nice enough to walk into checkmate ;-) |

| Sep-28-06 | | positionalgenius: <sneaky>Are you in? or do you just want to play a match with me? Or neither,as you'd be facing the home prep of a <positionalgenius>??
(Our lifetime score:Sneaky 3.5,me 0.5-and the 0.5 was due to a server crash!) |

 | | Sneaky: Hi positional genius, it is 10am Miami time, since cg.com doesn't use timestamps on the posts I'm not quite sure if I missed your message or not... |
|
| Sep-28-06 | | shr0pshire: <Sneaky> Even though it seems you have more tournament requests than Topalov and Kramnik combined if you ever want to play another friendly standard game again let me know. I enjoy playing against you, and since you pointed out my loss I feel as if I must avenge myself, lol. Actually come to think of it that is our most recent game, so I am on a losing streak against you . :) |
|

|
| Oct-04-06 | | shr0pshire: <Sneaky> I posted some really interesting games from a very specific line of the Bird (1.f4) where white sacks his queen in the first 8 moves of the opening. My friend Steve Tomporowski who is a USCF CC master thinks the gambit is sound, and I posted some of his games in my forum for people to discuss. I know you like theory, so I thought I would tell you about it. shr0p. :) |
|
| Oct-06-06 | | calmarten: in todays puzzle you can play 27Bxf7 in the line you gave and things are a little less complex than Rxc8 and still wins the full piece. |

 | | Sneaky: calmarten, you are right--I see that now. Thanks. |
