Check It Out: <Chesschronicle22: The Ignore List was a great idea>

Yes, it is, and I'm going to now make use of it.

Apr-17-23  Chesschronicle22: On who? <check it out>?
Apr-17-23  Chesschronicle22: I wonder if anybody has me in their ignore lost ;-;
Apr-17-23  Chesschronicle22: <Susan Freeman: <Chesschronicle22: BTW <Miss Susan> why aren't you a CG Editor? ♔ Gambit>  Short answer is, I have other things to do.
(Also, I do not know enough.)>

That explains a lot more :) Thanks, that explains a lot more. I'm also wondering, do I kibitz too much?

Susan Freeman: <CC22> No, feel free to kibitz all you want. Have fun, learn and teach. That is the mission paraphrased, of course.
Apr-17-23  Rdb: < Messiah: <Chesschronicle22> and <Teyss> I am very sorry for not responding, on Thursday I got b& for an off-topic kibitz. For one.

Offtopic.

Kibitz.

I regret so bad that I sent money to... to... THESE.

@#$% CG and @#$% its corrupt mods. This site is a cess pit.>

<messiah> , you are a good person. So let me try to cheer you up.

Look the difference you have made , your contribution.

For last few days , posts of <perfidious> so civil , so perfect .

I am sure admins listened to you and banned <perfidious> so that he had to change himself.

Now , the way you railed against <perfidious> for such an extended period , if you could rail against <diceman> in the same manner , rogoffland would be indebted to you , if you could cause that change

Cheers

And regards.

fredthebear: This muck was posted on a chess world championship page. It's offensive on any and every page, but to post as such is a clear indication that <stone free or die> has absolutely NO BOUNDARIES.

Are there ANY standards of decency on Chessgames??? The editor supervision here stinks to high heavens. Weeds all over the place need plucking, plucking, plucking. There's no hesitation to delete my game posts, but the boss troll can freely post any filth desired on any page whatever, including a chess world championship page.

Absolutely disgusting.

Earlier this month the punk was using game pages for multiple dental posts. No chess, because sfod doesn't truly care about chess. The subject was toothpaste and dental implants, etc. etc. That @#$% belongs in the Kibitzer Cafe. Now suspend sfod for the rest of this 2023 world championship so the rest of us can enjoy the games as we paid for without such blatant trash posting.

Apr-18-23  stone free or die: Another case of <Fred> misrepresenting.

Poor misguided child.

perfidious: She once co-wrote for a film titled: <F*** anyone who's not a sea blob>

Stonehenge: Please look into this guy:

Ljupco Steriev

He's not of sound mind and polluting the site with garbage.

I know you're for freedom of speech but I will not have myself called a hardcore pedophile.

Apr-24-23  stone free or die: <Stonehenge> want to help me work on some open-source bios stuff for use with <SCID>?
Apr-24-23
Premium Chessgames Member
Stonehenge: Doing bios is not my cup of tea. Besides, I'm doing quite enough already, thank you.
Apr-24-23  Z free or die: OK <(the real) Stone>, just thought I'd ask explicitly.

For the record, the bio stuff includes dob/dod stuff that I thought you were interested in. I do like the open source model, as <CG>'s future after Suzz is unclear to me still.

ChessCafe is an example that comes to mind. Even chesshistory will be uncertain at some point soon.

Apr-24-23  Z free or die: As for being childish....

The failing is on your part, <CG>, for not putting the kibosh on his stalking and harassment.

Did you look at <Fred>'s postings from today?

Apr-24-23  Z free or die: First post from today:

<fredthebear: The double standard at CGs is thriving. "It's for your own good" is a prevailing thought of tyranny.>

A Nicifor vs E Kramer, 1921 (kibitz #20)

He gets up each day with the thought of avenging some grievance, often dragging me into it.

There were several other examples from the beginning of today, but they've been deleted.

There's a false equivalency if you think this is my doing.

    • Am I expected to allow his incessant attacks to go unanswered?

    • Why do I have to patrol his postings? That's <CG>'s job.

You've failed in proper moderation, I think, largely due to insufficient attention to the dynamics - trying one-size-fits-all lazy solutions.

<Daniel> took several days one time of study, before he arrived at his famous blanket suspensions.

I'd gladly take a one-time hit to damp this down if you'd do your job properly. But this is history repeating itself, as we've already been through this at least once before.

Apr-25-23  stone free or die: I'd like how I get suspended for this:

<The account <stone free or die> has received a kibitzing suspension ... due to the following post:

<<stone free or die:> Prior to <FtB> joining in, I was going to comment how some of the old <CG> sense of fun was once again at hand in the Mayan digression.>

REASON: Stop with the childish games. The probation will increase for all parties if this continues>

whereas an admin can call another user a "c*nt" without consequence?

And I'd also like to know, exactly, what was childish about my post - did or didn't <FtB> seek to spoil a fun digression with an acidic post that had no other purpose?

Oh, and I guess the following post isn't considered childish (as usual, context is key if you're a bear whisperer),

<I don't think our man Stonehenge was addressing you Missy, but if the shoe fits...>
chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #40494)

Or this one either (much more overt),

<It should be clear to everyone who reads this page that <stone free or die> has no interest in chess. sfod is here simply to harass, harass, and harass again, again, and again. This is certainly nothing new. Many, many, many complaints have been made against sfod's misbehaviors over the years, and yet it continues to be allowed by Chessgames. It's a shameful mark on the company.>
A N Other vs F Wenman, 1938 (kibitz #23)

It strikes me that <CG>'s moderation strategy is a bit, how shall we say, amateurish?

And I'm not sure if I have either the time or inclination to help <CG> do better in this department even if I have an interest in the stakes. Much like the new player page format, I'll add.

Apr-25-23  Rdb: <MissScarlett: I'm missing <George Wallace>. If I can get <Miss Susan> alone in a room, I think we can sort this out>

Jesus !

have you set some periodic timer/alarm ? And whenever that alarm goes off , you start singing this tune once again ?

<Susan freeman>< I think you are kicking a dead horse>

Good to hear that.

<Susan Freeman: <Miss> you have my personal email account. >

I have requested <missscarlett> multiple times to have this conversation through email but to no avail.

Apr-25-23  stone free or die: Please realize that <CG> made several mistakes yesterday and should correct them.

I never should have been suspended for such an blase post (and I hold no grudges against the moderator - provided they do better in the future).

Therefore all ancillary actions by <CG> were illegitimate and must be revised.

Next, the new ignore-list (mis-)features should also be reviewed and better thought out. Let's also note they were rolled out without prior notice, violate the principle of due process.

<CG> needs to provide clear published guidance as to what it actions are, and will be, in regards to issues such as these. And the rules must, I repeat, must apply to all equally, else they can only be regarded as arbitrary and capricious.

Let's leave it there for today.

Apr-25-23  Rdb: Look <missscarlett> , you talking to wrong person. <Susan freeman> can not do anything in this matter . Because promise of <Susan freeman> is bigger than <Susan freeman> and <Susan freeman> gave the promise to <stonehenge> that she would never allow that vilest , most dishonest troll back on this site, then only <stonehenge> came back .

What did you say ? You saying that is just a conjecture , a hypothesis ? Sure. But a very plausible hypothesis . Also , that vilest , most dishonest troll emailed <Susan freeman> repeatedly and removed all doubts in case <Susan freeman> still had some doubts and now she knows with perfect clarity.

So , <missscarlett> , you better assume/act as if this hypothesis is true and stop singing this tune again and again and again and again after every few days.

Apr-25-23  Rdb: Plus , proof of cake is in eating.

Rogoffland is so much better now if not perfect. Ban/discipline a couple of buddies of that troll and <rogoffland> would be perfect.

Susan Freeman: ,<Fred> I have not received anything. My internet is down. Nothing in my private email.
Apr-27-23  stone free or die: <Suzz> let's drop that at the moment. Let's just say it wasn't a direct report, and was eventually deleted.

Thanks for the fixes.

(I posted another needed fix over on <chessgames> -fwiw).
