It's *highly* unlikely that two program will intefere with each other, windows operating system is suppose to take care of that. It is also *highly* unlikely if not improbable, that Kodak program would over-write a portion of your PlayChess.exe file. The fact that it slow down, is kinda pointing at a virus/worm/what nots.
