WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

jessicafischerqueen: <MannBee> Ha! In MY day, we had to get up half an hour before we went to bed, clean lake, we had to pay mill owner to work at mill, then when we came home Dad would send us to bed by slitting our throats and jumping up and down on our graves singing <Bloody Hallelujah>!! And YOU think you had it tough!

WannaBe: That's nothing, we had to work 16 hours on the railroad, then another 9 hours at the laundry shop, then 5 more hours at the restaurant.

And then do it all over again, oh yeah, it was in 16 ft of snow, up-hill both ways!

  jessicafischerqueen: Heh. so you're a <Yorkshireman> too?
Jun-25-07  brankat: <WannaBe> Do You feel like joining me, so we can severely punish the girls.

<Cat and Rabbit> vs. <Punkettes> ;-)

Lately, they have been bragging too much :-)

Please, let me know. Then I can help Niels set up his forum to Host the game.

Jun-26-07  Tactic101: Hi Wannabe!

Great job in your win against a 1600+ rated player! That was nice. Everything went downhill for black after he played Na7. Actually, looking at it, Nxd5, Qxd5 and Nb4 with Nxc2 threat would give black an advantage. Na7 is just far too passive. Great job in finishing him off after that!

Just a line: Want a rematch after this correspondance game? Thanks! :)

WannaBe: <Tactic101> Rematch... Um... Kinda busy at the current moment, I would probably at this moment say no.
Jun-26-07  Tactic101: That's okay. Tell me when you want one.

Jun-26-07  HFlew: <WannaBe> Can I yank your pic of Ben Finegold? We need a nice pic of him to put on the Michigan Chess Website....
Jun-26-07  HFlew: <WannaBe> Actually, if you've got 2 good images of Ben that we could use, that would be really awesome (we would give you credit, of course).
Jun-26-07  brankat: <WannaBe> So disappointing to see You being scared of two little girls :-)

Btw, should You open up Your own watering hole I could use me a job, too!

I promise there would be no beer spilled on the floor. I'd go 50/50. Half in the mugs and the other half, ahem...

Take care buddy.

Jun-27-07  whiskeyrebel: I agree, WannaBe should open a bar. He spends enough time in them as it is..might as well get paid!
Jun-27-07  brankat: Yeah! That's what it is all about. He wants to drink for free :-)
Jun-27-07  Open Defence: I bet <Wannabe> dreams of the day scientists announce that drinking beer actually improves ones chess

WannaBe: <Open Defence> Yes, it does already, if my opponent drinks beer, my chess (rating) improves!
Jun-27-07  Open Defence: and you use the Scotch Opening as White.. I am beginning to see a pattern here....

WannaBe: Gonna change my name to Alekhine... =)
Jun-27-07  Open Defence: < WannaBe: Gonna change my name to Alekhine... =) > or maybe <Alkoholine>
Jun-28-07  brankat: Running a bar would cut into <WannaBe>'s drinking schedule :-)
Jun-28-07  Tactic101: Hilarious posts here. Or maybe you'll convince your opponent that you are Max Euwe and he is Alekhine and hence he is compulsed to drink to keep with the spirit.
