  jessicafischerqueen: Oh that's an <EXCELLENT> book <Nako>.

There's a very good TV Documentary made out of it too.

Lots of pages.

It's a convincing argument though.

  jessicafischerqueen: <then read HP.>

Yo <Nako> you mean the <ingredients to the Steak Sauce> or the <instructions for how to work the printer>?

HP?

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> After that, read "Collapse" You know that Jared teaches at UCLA right? (or does he still?) And you're taking it (book) slow?? =)

Don't mind that Canadian woman and her comments, they're shipping/getting rid of her out to Korea (exile) soon anyway. Bwahahahah...

WannaBe: On a serious note, I have both "G, G, and S" and "Collapse". Very, very good, fascinating, intriguing read. Does make you think...

jessicafischerqueen: Yes, I was cheering for the <germs> in the first volume you mention, <MannBee>.

My only quibble, perhaps, with this fascinating study is that it probably should have been titled <Guns, Germs, Steel, and Bees>.

That's as close to a <serious note> as I can sing.

jessicafischerqueen: Oh I forgot to add, how do we all feel about <Bonds> owning the <Home Run Record>?

I got nothing against <Bonds> myself, I'm happy for him.

BTW, is <Canseco> still playing? Or is he already retired?

WannaBe: <jessicafischerqueen> You must know, I live in L.A. (county), I'm a long time (since I can remember, but memories gets hazy with age) Dodgers fan.

When my skin gets cut, I bleed Dodgers Blue! (Either that, or I'm a Vulcan...) The last 2 weeks have been absolute H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks for me. (Dodgers went on a bad skid...)

I can't stand the Giants, I've always dislike(d) the Giants, because of that, I even hold grudges against the New York Football team with the same name.

As far as I'm concerned, 'Hammerin' Hank is the record holder. (Or for that matter, Sadahara Oh have hit more home runs than that guy in San Francisco).

He's a self-serving, rude, arrogant, over-paid person, who gets to play a game (that I love). And, yes, I <LOVE> baseball. If I'm ever stranded on a deserted island, with Ms. Sharapova, and a TV that shows nothing but baseball game, I'd be watching baseball.

That should cover your question. :-))

  jessicafischerqueen: Ha!

So <Aaron> keeps the record?

I'm ok with that too.

However, I think even the water boys all take steroids these days.

Last game I saw all the way through was in summer of 2004, at the <Big O> in <Montreal>.

Pretty good game too. Baseball is 500 times better live.

I like clacking the empty seats up and down and yelling at the players.

You ever go to the games?

Aug-10-07  achieve: <However, I think even the water boys all take steroids these days.> Hasn't Bonds been punished for doping? I remember years ago that there were allegations against him...

WannaBe: <achieve> Allegations, yes, punishment/indictments? No.

<jessicafischerqueen> Your earlier question on Canseco, he's been retired now for 3? 4? years.

I enjoy going to games, (you must have missed my Chicago pictures...) I've re-uploaded them for you, check the link in my profile.

One of the thing that I love (besides 'dogs, 'nuts, and beer) is keeping score, I even showed/taught <you vs yourself> at the Cubs game!

It must be quite intimidating to your opponents.

WannaBe: What's going on in baseball? Yesterday Edwin Jackson, ex-Dodger pitched a shutout giving him a record of 3-11 (!) on the season. Today Jeff Weaver, ex-Dodger pitched a shutout giving him a record of 4-10(!) on the season.

On the other hand, current Dodger Mark Hendrickson 4-7, lasted only 2 and 2/3 innings gave up <8> earned runs, in a(nother) losing cause to the St. Louis Cards.

I think I see a trend here...
