WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: Not sure about casting her as Spock's Mom... http://tv.yahoo.com/show/33812/news...
Nov-09-07  YouRang: <NakoSonorense: What? TWO Grand Slams in the SAME inning to the SAME guy? Is that even physically possible? I would never have imagined something like that!>

Well, you see, there are 2 universes: (1) The universe of bad pitching and (2) the universe of bad managing.

If the exotic bizzaro fringes of these universes should collide, you get the stated Chan Ho Park "inning from hell" incident.

< What are the Dodgers gonna use him for?>

Good question. Ballast?

WannaBe: Alas, I did not see the movie, it is currently in limited release, and the theatres are all 'kinda' far away from where I live.

I shall wait for the wide release and watch it. Reviews, that I have read, all said good/great things about it.

Unfortunately, if that is possible with a Coen movie, is that, this is a novel adaptation, very faithful one, I should add.

I like their original movies, quirky, funny, dark, the darker the better, that's the way I like my movies...

But I still, will see this movie. Will give a review when I see it, apparently, one of the character is played by a Spanish actor, quite well known on the continent, but (still a) relatively unknown here in the states.

But he has stared in a few other movies that I have seen, but I can't remember him in them! =(

WannaBe: Arrived safely, only broke about 3 dozen motor vehicle laws...

Due to the Oracle conference, all the hotel are pretty packed, so instead of my usual Best Western, I'm at a Motel 6...

If I have my choice, I'd pick Best Western... Just me though.

Any chance that 49ers gonna come back and make it a game? Like that Indy-San Diego game last night?

1. Visit front desk to obtain a Wi-Fi Internet Access Card. ($2.99/24 hours)

2. Turn off any personal firewall <until after> you are connected.

WannaBe: Then why, <my> tropical fishes die?! http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071114...
Nov-14-07  JoeWms: This is from <WannaBe>'s link:

<Surviving on land is not the only unusual behavior exhibited by the fish. They have both testes and ovaries and essentially clone themselves by laying their own, already fertilized eggs.>

It's a do-it-yourself world.

Nov-14-07  Chess Classics: My team beat your team.

More to the point, your defense got burned by Rex Grossman. Now that's just kinda sad.

(You're a Raiders fan, if I recall right?)

CC
