WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Jan-19-08  NakoSonorense: Seems like you're having a lot of fun at your new job. And I suppose that means no more computer-related questions, uh! :)

Good luck, and wish you success with your new endeavour.

Jan-19-08  brankat: From now on only liquid questions :-)

WannaBe: In all seriousness, all questions are still welcomed here. =) 'Less I'm doing a really, really long shift at work, then I won't get a chance to answer until later...
Jan-19-08  whiteshark: Have you ever faced the post-modern, ultra-prophylactic <2...Ke7!!> move in your <WannaBe-Gambit> or is it just <a whiteshark's novelty> ?
Jan-19-08  NakoSonorense: Terrible year for us... don't you agree?
Jan-20-08

WannaBe: <whiteshark> Well, that is the 'correct' move to my 2. Ke2...

<NakoSonorense> Can't believe we lost at home to that other school!! I worked a 'full' shift at the bar, and had the game on, with the sound and everything... =(

WannaBe: Full shift today, which for the owner, it means 10 AM to ??? usually around 10 PM the earliest, but I've got a few customers still here... I probably won't get out until maybe 11 PM.

A gal who looked really young, had to show me her ID, and it was a German ID, born in '83, so she's OK to drink in the U.S. Cute girl too! =)

(Not sure if the ID is real, eagle hologram on the right hand side, the ID is about twice the size of a credit/ATM card. But she does have a slight German accent when she speaks English. =)

Another couple, very young looking gal, with an 'elder' gentleman, with a French accent, drink Fat Tires... She is sexy as heck... just lovely.

Ah... Love this business. All kinds of people, all walks of life, and it's never boring!!

But I'm gonna be a tired son of a gun tomorrow, be back tomorrow at 10 AM, for the football games. Dunno when I will close tomorrow, another full shift tomorrow.

But things are slow enough right now that I can make a post or two. Drink a few brews, waiting for the customers to finish theirs! =)

WannaBe: This Ms. Vaidisova http://images.google.com/images?hl=... is my newest future ex-wife!!
Jan-20-08  brankat: Now know the real reason why You insisted on getting into the Bar-business :-)
Jan-21-08  meloncio: <WannaBe> So it's true! You are really a bar owner. I thought all was a big joke, as you use to be kidding... It's a pity that I live so far, I could be a good customer.

Congratulations and good luck!

Jan-21-08  technical draw: <Wannabe> Is it true that all Chessgames.com premium members get to drink free at your bar? If it's true but I can't visit yor bar because of the distance, can you mail me a case of Jack Daniels?
Jan-21-08  Open Defence: well California might be on my list of places to visit if your bar is as good as I hear :)

WannaBe: <meloncio> You are right, that I like to joke around, but this case, no. =)

<technical draw> If you come in, you <WILL HAVE TO SHOW ID> to prove that you are only 9 month old.

<Open Defence> :-))

Jan-21-08  you vs yourself: Congratulations on your new bar. Beer, sports, chicks...all day, everyday. You're lucky as hell;-)

I don't know, I don't know... Seems like a nice place to hang out. And I live close enough to check it out. I don't know when, but you'll definitely have a customer from cg.com =)

Jan-21-08  technical draw: <Wannabe> Can I get a gig doing stand-up at your bar? I will triple your regular customer list. Guaranteed.

WannaBe: <you vs yourself: Ber, sports, chicks...all day, everyday.>

Not really, it's more like hard work all day. (Saturday & Sunday combined, it was close to 23 hours).

<NakoSonorense> Of course, come by, if it's slow, you can woop my rear-end again in some 10/0 games!

<technical draw> No can do buddy, I don't have an entertainment licence, and I doubt my regulars can understand/tolerate hours of goo-goo and ga-gas. =)

tpstar: <WannaBe> Good luck with your new venture. =)

You should partition off part of your space and set up tables with chess sets (maybe even a computer) for your patrons to play. Suggested title = "Studio 64"

Need any drink name ideas?! ;>D

Jan-22-08  you vs yourself: <WannaBe> Hard work can be fun when you do what you love. I hope that's the case here. Good luck!

Jan-22-08  technical draw: <Wannabe> I said I was going to do my stand-up routine. I didn't mention anything about entertainment. Anyway lots of luck in your new Venture, Get rich and spread it around!
