WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

HeMateMe: I want to nominate Dick Nixon as a sort of overall 'chess czar', if you get the idea. He would have complete control over all kibitzing, including wiretaps, protest busting, and general skulldugery, where necessary.

He was right then, and dammit, he's right, now.

  tpstar: More nominations:

Best Avatar = User: Natalia Pogonina

Best Handle = <First>

Best Pun = "Etude in G7" & "How To Beat Your Dad At Chess"

Best Game Collection = <TheAlchemist> for Game Collection: Brilliancies By "Unknowns"

Funniest Kibitzer = <tamar>

Most Constructive = <Annie K.> & <Phony Benoni>

<WannaBe> Traditionally the site awards are meant to recognize other users for their contributions throughout the year. Therefore I disagree with people nominating themselves for any category, and I suggest you remove that from the instructions.

Domdaniel: Uh, what are those categories again? Can I scroll back while I pretend to think? Cool.

*Best analyst (non-computer)*
<Eyal> ... he might *use* a computer, but he's not one. And he does it quite bestly, really.

*Best handle/name*
<ILikeFruits> ... how can one resist?

*Best Historian*
<Malthrope> + <Brankat>, who were there when it happened.
