WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

HeMateMe: A suggestion, for unfilled categories: randomly pick a few people who seem to fill the requirements, e.g., if the category were 'analyst', give a short example of each person's efforts, and ask the CG kibitzers to consider nominating one of the given three.

I would like to nominate/vote for people, but I don't really see enough of their jottings to know the score. Honza Cverenka has had some nice analysis; I think he might be an IM in fact, not sure. But her is here so infrequently, he is easy to forget. You could post a few reminders, either as links, or actually paste their writing on the kibitzer page (which would probably be more effective). Good luck!

  jessicafischerqueen: <he mate me>

No category ever goes unfilled before the voting starts.

<MannBee> is too busy to do research on our behalf, but your idea of posting a reason for your nomination is excellent.

If everyone posted why they nominated a member, then all of us could see a nice selection of people to vote for.

Good idea.

BEST FORUM TITLE

<join the army> for <SHOULD KRAMNIK RETIRE?>

Even though it's not a real category, and he's long since changed the title.

Ok never mind then!

  WannaBe: Woo, woo, woo!!!!!

This wabbit be famous, famous I said!!! go to http://www.changinghandsfilm.com/st... and go about 1/2 way down, (my pics are right under the dishwater blond's pic).

You will see me holding a gun, wearing a Long Beach State University shirt shooting at the perps.

There are 3 pics of me, all in a row...

The writer/director/producer Scott, is a very good friend of mine, and he asked if he can used my bar for the shots, and we then recruited a bunch of extras for it, late, late into the night!!

Great pictures! You should have requested a role in which you get to make out with that redhead, Detective Debbie Davidson.

Dec-22-09  YouRang: Hey, I remember Kevin Sorbo (the Father) -- he was Hercules in the TV series some years back.
Dec-22-09  Jim Bartle: "My name is the last one before the crew's credit, all the way towards the bottom!"

The disadvantage of having a name starting with "Y."
