WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

WannaBe: Errr... Why are the words promotional video in quotes???
Dec-09-09
Premium Chessgames Member
jessicafischerqueen: I don't trust any promotional video.

Especially the one for our school here that has me in it.

The entire sequence of me "teaching" WAS FAKED. The "students" were shipped in from a slave labor camp in China, since our own students are far too stupid to use in a promotional video.

Also, they used CGI to make me look "more attractive"

However, I did use FOOTPRINTS and the HEAD MAN gave me personal service, so I can vouch for them.

Oh yes and also I was thrilled to learn that you will again generously host this year's PRESTIGIOUS AND COVETED "Caissar Awards."

You may be pleased to know that I have been in deep consultation with <Technical Draw>, and we have agreed to limit our usual 10 page argument over "who is funniest" to 9 pages this year, so as not to test your patience.

WannaBe: Err.... that last link with the pic... i can't seem to see it, but judging from what i 'read' so far, the message is understood...

p.s. are you really in iran, and have to post messages that we have to read between the lines??

Are you going to the student protest, and can we expect your tweets anytime soon?

Nod once for yes, twice for no...

WannaBe: No, the funniest kibitzer will go to some member here, on CG, who have only signed up 2 month ago, and made only 5 posts.
Dec-10-09  Jim Bartle: If the person who decided to give the Nobel Prize to Obama is a kibitzer, that's a gimme right there.
Dec-10-09  Mr. President: Thank you <WannaBe>, I'll take you up on that.

<GoSo: God bless you brothers, our prayers and page count increases have not been in vain, and our Mighty Chairman Wesley has absorbed our faith to knock down that pagan Ukrainian with one swift punch. In the name of our Victorious Glorious Nation, I pray, brothers, that you do not abandon your duties now. We are only about 2000 pages ahead of Heathen Ivanchuk on the page count, and we know that the enemy forces are strong and want bitter revenge against our young, Beloved Chairman. They will try hard to catch up in the page count, so my brothers, you must follow my example and maintain our lead at all costs. ...

Remember that Insolent Ivanchuk is bigger than our skinny Chairman, and he may throw a punch if he is losing, so we send up our prayers for Apparatchik Pacquiao to accompany our chairman to his game. Doctor Ivanchuk is bigger than Pacquiao, and his page count is higher, but our Wise Apparatchik would have an advantage in speed (though not speed chess) and mustache and could try to protect our Immortal Chairman.

Don't forget your prayers, Kindly Brothers of Clan So.

I think it would be good, <Wannabe> to remind people there's no need to re-nominate someone already mentioned. I erased a couple when I saw <whatthefat> had already named them.

Yes, but however, it would require fellow members to read through all the posts just to make sure their nomination does/is not a duplicate of others...

I will handle the duplicates at my end...
