 | | WannaBe: Fire him, FIRE HIM <NOW>!! Don't even wait until the game is over, just call his cell phone, twitter, facebook, call the PA announcer at Tuscon, and say it. Rick Neuheisel, you are fired! Get it over with! A National Embarassment. A Travesty, (Did I spell that right?), A Joke. Bring back Bob Toledo, (just fired too.) Bring back Terry Donahue, heck bring in John Robinson!!! He'll work for anybody. Norm Chow is laughing his rear-end off right now. FIRE HIM! |

 | | WannaBe: Words can not, <CAN NOT> express my embarassment of this display of 'football', or 'defense/defence'. Much less how well the QB is playing, and #@$^#$$ Rick Neuheisel played QB!! I don't know what else to say/type/post. Just an absolutely dismal display of preparedness, dismal display of player's efforts, and an atrocious program under the current coaching staff. (We didn't play last weekend! We had 10 days, <10 #$%*^^%%$ days> to prepare for this game. And this is how we play?!?!?! I propose an 'Occupy Westwood' movement!!! If Dan Guerrero (our AD) have any manhood, he'd fire Rick before the plane even leaves the tarmac, make Neuheisel walk back to LA. |

|
| Oct-22-11 | | Shams: Any chance you are up late and want to help me mount an .img file on OS X? |
|
Oct-22-11
 | | WannaBe: OS X?! Mac? Not too good with Macs, let me do some research, maybe catch up with you later this afternoon or early evening on Saturday? |
|
Oct-22-11
 | | WannaBe: Yes, our coach is Clueless!
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bas... |
|
| Oct-22-11 | | Shams: No no, no research please!
Apparently what I have are files meant to be imaged via CloneCd, which requires a bit of a hack to port over the OS X. I'll think of something. |
|
| Oct-22-11 | | Alien Math: Have rename .img file to .iso file? |
|
Oct-22-11
 | | WannaBe: I don't think <Shams> is trying to install OS X. 'Less, I completely misread what he wrote, which did happen once, on <Phony's> forum. |

 | | WannaBe: Dag nab it, my feed for the Wash-Stanford game is frozen, and TexTech game is in a weather delay, down to baseball and Wisc-Mich St. game... =( |
|
| Oct-22-11 | | hangingenprise: i read up on the account of the streaker. the sign of the times, as no one can take a "joke"
but has to get all gestapo like about it.
the one comment on ucla football though, ouch. why not arrest the entire ucla football team for impersonating a division 1 program.
this is from an arizona person |
|
Oct-22-11
 | | WannaBe: Should have fired/arrested Rick for impersonating being a head coach at 3 diff. schools! |
|
| Oct-22-11 | | hangingenprise: rick is gone. after what happened in arizona, the administration and alumni
are not going to put up with that junk any more. come on, ucla is loaded with tradition and this has rick packing his bags. |

 | | WannaBe: Does anybody know, if Rooney played in the City-United game today? I know he got into trouble in the Euro match, and is currently suspended for the 3 group matches. (Pending appeal...) I know that idiot who burned down his house played for City and scored, but nothing I read made any mention of Rooney. But that suspension have nothing to do with Premiere League play, right?! Or am I wrong? Enquiring mind wants to know! =) Thanks in advance. |

 | | WannaBe: http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/wi... How NASA can tell me, an asteroid will not hit earth, but at the same time, can't tell me where a satellite will come down on earth?! Put it another way, we can shoot a missile and knock out satellites (Both US and China have done this.) because we can calculate its trajectory and we can have super computers (In US, China, Japan, Europe) that can simulate weather, nuclear explosion, but we have no idea on our man-made satellite. But we can tell an asteroid will not hit earth. Okay, conspiracy theorists, go at it. |

| Oct-23-11 | | Alien Math: <WannaBe> http://www.npr.org/2011/10/21/14159... Solar activity inflated the Earth's atmosphere, changed the time of re-entry. Also http://blog.al.com/wire/2011/10/bes... German space agency spokesman Andreas Schuetz said a falling satellite also can change its flight pattern or even its direction once it sinks to within 90 miles above the Earth. Podcast of Predicting When Space Junk Will Come Home To Earth http://www.sciencefriday.com/progra... has some more explaining. | | WannaBe: http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/p... I love paragraph number 3: <Tebow has now led the Broncos to two fourth quarter comeback wins in his four career starts. Broncos Hall-of-Famer John Elway didn't orchestrate his second fourth quarter comeback until his 18th career start. > Why, and how, or what does it matter? Elway may have had a better team, and they are not always playing from behind. Maybe Tebow's poor completion/passes is the reason that the Broncos are behind in the game. Ever considered that? No wonder these blogs are such crap. Journalists? Go and pound the pavement, you think Pulitzer are gonna give you one of them awards for posting blogs? From the title "Tebow defies Odds, leads..." I thought Tebow was playing with one eyes blind, or born without legs, when you use 'Defies Odds' in sports, it usually is something big. (USA-USSR ice hockey, now, that is defying the odds!) |
|
Oct-23-11
 | | OhioChessFan: UCLA winning a football game, THAT would be defying the odds. |
