WannaBe: <chancho|> Go see Freeman, and the lovely Redhead, Andrea Riseborough.

Yahoo movie, viewers gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I am always highly critical of Sci-Fi movies.

chancho: I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, but I have to wait until September:

chancho: <WannaBe> I saw Oblivion yesterday.

My wife shed a few tears at the movie's finale.

I thought it was ok.

Not what I expected.

WannaBe: <chancho> What 'surprised' me was how much total movie time Freeman had, I think it was less than 10 minutes.

chancho: Gotta hand it to Mike D'Antoni.

With Riley and Jackson it was winnin' time, but Mike's teaching the Lakers a new concept... losin' time.

Apr-21-13  chessmoron: Good defense but too much turnovers.

chancho: <WannaBe> I agree... for a star who won an Oscar, Freeman was treated like a prop with a few lines.

I saw Jack Reacher today, and I actually enjoyed that movie more than Oblivion.

And funny thing: What happened to Morgan Freeman in Oblivion, happened to Robert Duvall (another oscar winner) in Jack Reacher. Duvall appears right around the last part of the movie with a few lines.

WannaBe: <chancho> I thought Jack Reacher was better, also, there was a mystery involved, plus Ms. Pike (Bond girl, Ms. Frost).

In Sci-fi, you got a lot of geeks/nerds critiquing every impossiblity/implossibility.

Bobble-head Bob survived that crash? Where did that second life-pod come from? Thought drone destroyed every single one, except Julia? After the second 'Mr. Harper' escaped, why weren't drones called?

Like I said, I am very tough on Sci-fi movies. Can't wait for Star Trek. =)

WannaBe: In one of the Trailer for "Into Darkness" for Star Trek, there is a scene, where NCC-1701 sees/meets a bigger Federation ship.

I am going to guess that is the future NCC-1701. Either way, I am going to call in sick on May 17th. Or take a personal day off.

WannaBe: Upon closer look at the trailer, it looks to be Galaxy Class, from Picard era...

Boy, I need a life.

Apr-25-13  hangingenprise: wannabe: traiders have a first round pick!!
hopefully they won't blow it like past years.

  perfidious: <hanging>: If only, sir!

Another useful thing would be for Raiders to avoid bestowing any more big-money deals on players such as Gibril Wilson-not that they were the first team to thus reward a player from someone else's Super Bowl winner in such fashion.
