WannaBe: Forget Sharknado, here is Fishnado!

http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/26/world...

Dec-30-13  NakoSonorense: If you're driving up north, the 5 is the fastest, right?
Dec-30-13  Shams: <Nako> Absolutely the fastest. How far north are you coming?
Dec-31-13  NakoSonorense: The Bay Area. It'll be my first time up there.
Dec-31-13  Shams: <Nako> You'll have a blast. 101 is worth it if you have the time...the Central Valley is dead boring.
Dec-31-13  NakoSonorense: The 5 it is then! It's going to be a quick trip (only a weekend) and I want to make the most out of it. Next time I'll take the 101.

The Central Valley may be boring, but I doubt it's more so than the 10 East. I've driven to Arizona dozens of times and it's nothing but sand and desert for hours.

Jan-05-14  Shams: <WannaBe> Oh my god, VIN BAKER is on that team?? He is perhaps the most colossal bust in Seattle Sports history. The guy sucked rocks 20 years ago, and thinks he can play *today*?

I'll put $500 on DPRK.

Jan-14-14  TheFocus: <WannaBe> I withdraw my offer. I did not know it was still available. Dale Brandreth also charges less for shipping.

The book is available at: http://www.chessbookstore.com/.

<CARL SCHLECHTER! THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE AUSTRIAN CHESS WIZARD, by Warren Goldman. Yorklyn, 1994. Hardback, 551 pages. 244 games‹most with notes. Good indices & bibliography. 54 photos & drawings. More than just a games collection due to the heavy research the author spent on Schlechter's life and contributions to chess in his writings as well as his tournament career. No longer available to dealers. Few copies left. $80>

Jan-15-14  technical draw: <WannaBe> I'm told you're the go to man on things about software. I need software that delays a spoken word. In other words I speak into a mic and (an adjustable) delay repeats the spoken words. I have in a mind an idea that might work for people who stutter. Thanks in advance.
