Another possibility is Qf3, and here they are not so much looking at Qc6+ (because we have Bd7) but Qb7. If our Rook has abandoned the a file, we may have trouble defending the a and b pawns. I very much doubt that we could get a vote from both teams in that time to substitute you as a player, and it has been customary during the game for both teams to approve a substitution. Also, I feel that we owe it to our good teammate, <Nako Sonorense>, to ask him his intentions (i.e., either to marry us or to set us free). :) It may also be worth adding that it may be problematic at this late hour to bring on a new teammate who has even read kibitzing about this game, or looked at computer analysis and the like. (I don't know whether you have or not, but this is an issue that would have to be addressed). Finally, we would need to know what would happen if you were kidnapped by a house full of UCLA co-eds. Would you still want to play chess? Thus, I would say, thank you for your offer, but I don't think it will be possible for us to take advantage of it under the current circumstances.
