WannaBe: <perfidious> Hehheheh I was in on of those pools, number of years; lots of fun, only 5 bux/week to enter, no one gets 'hurts'. And the house/bar buys you a beer when you participate. (They know you will sit there for just a 'few' more cold ones) Now, those elimination pools on

WannaBe: Oooops, Ducks scored... Let's hope this is not reverse Miracle on Manchester.
May-16-14  Mating Net: They have to kill off the penalty to start the 3rd, when they do that they'll fine.

WannaBe: In my opinion, Kings should put 3 goalies and 3 centers on the ice for the 3rd inning.
May-16-14  Mating Net: Quick is the equivalent of 3 goalies.

WannaBe: Crap, another goal by Ducks.
May-16-14  Mating Net: Gotta keep the ratings up, they don't want everybody to stop watching and start playing chess.

WannaBe: Ducks have just pulled their water-boy for an extra attacker.
May-16-14  Mating Net: If they don't quit taking penalties it won't matter who they pull.

WannaBe: Ducks have just pulled their GM for another extra attacker.
May-16-14  Mating Net: Unless he can hit a grand slam it won't matter.

WannaBe: Looks like <travis bickle> and LA will be battling it out. =)

May have to bet him a beer on the outcome. They beat us last year.

May-16-14  Mating Net: The Hawks are going to be a tough nut to crack, but the Kings have lots of guys who are scoring, unlike last year. You may want to make it a 6 pack due to the Quick factor.

WannaBe: Things that makes you go "Huh???"

Sunday:

Mil at Cubs 2:30 PM Eastern
Heat at Indy 3:30 PM Eastern

So NHL schedules LA-CHI to play at what time?? (3PM Eastern)

There's no horse racing tomorrow, the Preakness is today, the only other play-off sport is NBA.

So, NHL, (the 7th in TV Exposure, after NFL/MLB/NBA/Nascar/Golf/Bass Fishing) schedules a game that goes head-to-head with NBA.

I guess they can't move it back to 4PM or 5PM Eastern, because that would cause Chicagoans to drink for 7 hours while watching Cubs and then 'Hawks.

WannaBe: Triple Crown? Will I finally get to see one??
May-17-14  Mating Net: I sure hope so Bugsy. Hard to believe the owners bought that horse's dam for a pittance, 8k.

WannaBe: For what it's worth, the Kings is the only team (so far) to have had two 3-game losing streak in a series and went on to win, in the same post-season. Also, Chicago scored first and won the game.

So, to set another record, they should spot Chicago 4-0 series lead and win it 5-4.
