Nov-26-22 | | technical draw: Sorry <WannaBe>, I can't share your enthusiasm for "Wednesday". I couldn't finish the first episode. It's just not my kind of series. |

 | | WannaBe: Thanks for the link <OCF>, now I have to fly to S. Korea to stalk her. (Can I borrow 40K USD??) This makes me wonder, can someone who is left handed play a "right handed" instrument? Especially string, or wood wind? Piano or drums or Harp or Sitar could be considered separately, as there's no true "hand". Anyone know of "left handed" player that plays a right handed instrument (GUITAR excluded, because I know of one, that strung the string opposite way). Now, violin and viola are designed to be held under the left side of the head, but cello and bass are not. Hence this 'interesting intellectual question'. Because really how you tune the string, is how tight it is, the bridge itself doesn't know or care, I can reverse the strings (cello or bass) and tune it right, would anyone know the differences? Just a curious and interest thought/discussion. |

 | | WannaBe: Just started episode 3 of "Wednesday" (Spoke to a few co-workers, who are also geeks, they have already finished the series). Love how Tim Burton does the intro, quick one/two minutes of weirdness, and goes to the music. Like the(m) old black and white episodes. Or is B/W no longer acceptable anymore? |

 | | WannaBe: OMG, "Wednesday" Season 1, Episode 3, coffee shop scend: "You Rang" had me fell out of my chair and remember CG.com member <YouRang>. ðð |

 | | WannaBe: So, the ever so lovely C. Ricci makes her appearance in episode 3, as a redhead no less. ðâĨððĨ°ð |

 | | WannaBe: No, Mr. T. Burton, you did not Stephen King that in Episode 4. (Not that I didn't like it... I f****ing loved it!! Very nice Homage). |
|
Dec-01-22 | | technical draw: <So, the ever so lovely C. Ricci makes her appearance in episode 3, as a redhead no less> Thanks. That might make me go back to watching the series. |

 | | chancho: Luis Guzman as Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia. Is that good casting? |
|
Dec-01-22
 | | WannaBe: <chancho> Guzman is a bit big around the waist to play Gomez, still miss Raul Julia from the movies. And (personal opinion) the character as portrayed lacks that "Gomez Charm and wit". CZJ as Morticia is just about perfect, so pretty. Up there with Angelica Houston. ððĨ° |
|
Dec-02-22 | | technical draw: Luis Guzman has been in tons of movies but having him play Gomez was a mistake. After the suave John Astin and Raul Julia, Luis Guzman breaks the mold. I know the focus was on Wednesday but Guzman's part was important. |

Dec-02-22
 | | WannaBe: "Wednesday" Episode 6 (2 more to go for season 1) that exchange between the two "Wednesdays" are great. (Not to mention all the other one-liners about death, goth, and typical Addams Family @#$%) Guess one have to have a "real" dark humour... Which I have, very much! |

 | | WannaBe: "Like a monkey's paw", OMG...
No, seriously, this show have been absolutely hilirous, hilios, heelious, hilariooous. OK, It's freaking funny. In My Opinion. ððĪĢðĪŠðð |

 | | WannaBe: OMG, Episode 7 with Uncle Fester, the (inside) jokes are endless... That's just the first 15 minutes, maybe 10 min, or 8 min... |
|
Dec-02-22 | | playground player: Uncle Fester! You have moved me to revisit some of those classic episodes. |
|
Dec-02-22
 | | chancho: Fred Armisen was great in that episode. |
|
Dec-03-22
 | | WannaBe: <chancho> I am guessing that you are watching the show. What's your take/opinion on it? Don't give too much info to me, I still have one episode left to watch. |
|
Dec-03-22
 | | chancho: <WannaBe> I saw the series last week. Episode 8 is super.
That's all I will say...
But, will there be a season 2?
You tell me!

Dec-03-22
 | | WannaBe: <chancho> ðð Think I will watch #8 sometime this weekend. ðĪŠð |
|
Dec-03-22 | | technical draw: I went back to seeing (and suffering through) Wednesday again. I really don't like the premise but I love to see the talented and beautiful Emma Myers. I also like Gwendoline Christie. So if the actresses can keep my attention I will continue to watch it. |

 | | WannaBe: <TD> What on this God's Earth, made you go look up "Future Ex-Wife Thread"? Or were you just looking for sexy women and beaten up VWs? I see a common thread here. (I notice things, you know... I am like a Sherlock Holmes, or Hercule Poiroit, or Lt. Frank Drabben, or you know that Asian guy on Barney Miller) ðĪŠððĪĶââïļðĪ·ââïļðĪĶââïļðĪ·ââïļ |

 | | WannaBe: Re: My previous post for <TD> on Crypto and FTX, man, Sam Bankman-Fried have such a 'voice'. I know it's kinda mean to pick on him (not because he is in some really, really, really deep deep deep deep crap, but SBF doesn't have a 'manly voice'). Maybe it's because mine is closer to/with Barry White, I've actually done "My First, My Love, My Everything" once or twice at karaoke. (My usual go to songs are "King of the Road", "16 Tons", "Piano Man", "Mrs. Robinson", "Come a Little Closer" - Jay & Americans Did Don McLean & American Pie twice, everyone at the pub got up and left. Also have done "Suicide is Painless" - M*A*S*H theme, everyone in the pub died OD) |
|
Dec-05-22 | | technical draw: <<TD> What on this God's Earth, made you go look up "Future Ex-Wife Thread"?> I didn't search for it. I was just surfing and it came up and of course I could not resist reporting it to you! |
