 | | Tabanus: Talking about seniors, what about the newly finished World Senior Ch's (4 groups: 2 x 50+ and 2 x 65+). |

 | | chessgames.com: Several recent tournaments have been added to New Tournaments and more will follow. |

 | | Tabanus: CG, on Panamerican Seniors +50 (2017), the winner has zero games and no. 4 Tempone is only player with >1 games. http://chess-results.info/tnr306975... |

 | | chessgames.com: I know; we only have a smattering of games as of now. I probably shouldn't have opened it for kibitzing yet. |

Nov-29-17
 | | Tabanus: http://chess-results.com/tnr306975.... has 156 games on it. Pgn looks Ok except Event & Site. |

 | | MissScarlett: < When are we likely to see them appear?> Apparently, preparing some crappy holiday hunt competition is more important. The site's called <chessgames.com>. Do what it says on the tin! Don't let me wake up in the morning feeling disappointed again... |

| Dec-01-17 | | Travis Bickle: Yo Chief, I'm a memeber of this site & either you or a S.O.B. is force feeding me advertisements.. This has to stop...
The ad on the Kibitzer Cafe is 'How To
Raise Social - Benefits By Up To $570 a Month Increase Your SS Benefits By As Much As $570 Per Month With1 Single
Word'.
What are you going to do Boss to get rid of this problem?? |

Dec-01-17
 | | chessgames.com: Travis: <The ad on the Kibitzer Cafe> I'm about to wipe out ads on Kibitzer Cafe right now. Problem solved. |
|
Dec-01-17
 | | offramp: Is there any way of finding out the top kibitzers to chessgames.com if the posts to Rogoff (politics) and Kibitzers Cafe (music) are not counted? |
|
Dec-01-17
 | | chessgames.com: <offramp> Sure I could do it, but some chessforum addicts may continue to skew the stats. Perhaps what's actually interesting is simply who posts the most on game pages and player pages (not including Rogoff, Stumpers, et al.) |
|
| Dec-02-17 | | thegoodanarchist: <offramp> wants to see if he's the one who posts the most! And there's nothing wrong with that - I'm not judging. |

Dec-02-17
 | | chessgames.com: <offramp> ChessGames.com Statistics Page now has been revised. The section <Which chessgames.com users have kibitzed the most?*> says <* = Excluding posts to the Kibitzer's Café and Kenneth Rogoff> and has been recomputed under those constraints. We may revert to the old rules in the future, or refine them further. For now, there you go. |

 | | offramp: <chessgames.com>, thanks! The new list looks more rational, to me. I think the great <Acirce>, the legend, has moved up the list. |

|
| Dec-04-17 | | whiteshark: <sonia91: No forum for the Russian Superfinals?> Additional infos:
The 70th Russian Championship Superfinal is taking place in the State Museum of the Political History of Russia in St. Petersburg from 3-14 December 2017. Peter Svidler is the top seed for the 12-player round-robin, where the winner receives 1 million roubles (~14,500 euros) and a Renault Kaptur car. The top three finishers qualify automatically for next year's Superfinal. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. No draw offers are allowed before move 40. A tie for first place is split by two 15+10 rapid games and, if the score is still tied, a 5 vs. 4 Armageddon game, where Black wins if the game ends in a draw. Official website: http://ruchess.ru

 | | Domdaniel: <CG> Congrats on the Analysis Lab and 'fuel' ... I'm only now belatedly getting to grips with these innovations, but they seem excellent. |
|
Dec-05-17
 | | Domdaniel: <CG> The revised statistics page is very interesting. Jessica is restored to #1 and I move up to #5. And the zillions of self-serving Rogoff posts are discounted, along with the jukebox fest in the kibitz cafe. Good work!
One day, I suspect you'll develop an AI routine to exclude non-chess posts. I may be in trouble then... |

 | | Domdaniel: <Miss Scarlett> - < some crappy holiday hunt competition > Hey, just because you're not interested in puzzles or not bright enough to solve them, that's no reason to spoil it for the rest of us. |
