Nakamura vs A J Goldsby, 2003
picard: <LMAJ> Nakamura doesn't impress you huh? Such amazing arrogance. Also, i like how you lied about the cheating at the 1993 world open. You said the cheater had nothing in his ears but he was openly wearing headphones. For anyone interested, i posted what AJ the idiot here posted and also Bill Wall's description of the event. AJ you are the scum of the earth man.> My idea of a blatant attack, I have already requested that it be removed. |

| Apr-13-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: By the way, I recounted the 1993 cheating incident correctly. I was there - as Bill Goichberg (and others) will tell you. I was the first to sound the alarm, I knew something was amiss. (You did not have to be a rocket scientist to see it.) When he played H. Olafsson, he seemed more interested in doodles and staring at the ceiling ... it was obvious that this clown was no chess player. And he did NOT wear earphones all of the time ... about half the time, he took them off. Since you were not there, I would say any knowledge you had of that incident was clearly hearsay and second-hand information. |

 | | chancho: I remember reading in Chess Life That Bill Goichberg showed a puzzle like this one to that guy Neumann to see if he could solve it, and Neumann refused. click for larger view |

 | | Stonehenge: Don't be silly.
1.Qd8+ Rxd8 2.Kg1 wins easily. |
|
| Apr-14-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: I think - later - they worked out some kind of hand/facial signals. Neumann kept looking at this one guy and he made a series of facial expressions. They even did it when Goichberg began to set Neumann chess problems. |
|
| Apr-14-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: Another part of this saga is that I was at the table where the prize funds were being distributed. (I won a small cash prize.) Neumann came up and "TRIED" to collect his prize money ... he had some guy with a beard who was with him, I think he was the brains of the whole outfit. Since PC's were NOT powerful enough to run this type of program in 1993, I have to guess that maybe they were tied into a mainframe somewhere ... |
|
| Apr-14-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: I think Neumann was unrated. Back in those days, the prize was usually "Under 2400 and unrated." (Someone could look this up in an old issue of 'Chess Life' to verify that.) |
|
| Apr-14-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: He suffers from "old man's forgetfulness" nowadays, but I went to this tournament with Joe Hodge. (Many of the GM's know him personally, he used to be the night manager of the Marshall Chess club ... many years ago.) We tallked about this whole incident for weeks afterward. |

Plus, there was Tuesday's recycled puzzle from 2004 that was botched by CG staff. You have over 580,000 games in the data base. Get it together, please.> |

| Apr-15-11 | | Hesam7: There is an ongoing chess match between world's two best engines: Rybka and Houdini. The time controls are 150 minutes total time plus 30 second increments from move 1 so the games will be of high quality. I think you should add the games to the database and maybe make a page for the match: http://www.tcec-chess.org/tcec_em.php |

| Apr-17-11 | | chesssantosh: <chessgames.com> my apology that i could not make you understand my problem.so let me explain again.suppose a game contains fifty page of kibitz and when i click, the game opens with 50th page of kibitz now if i want to go to page no 10 what i have to do is fill 10 on the box given at the end of kibitz.it looks like Jump directly to page # ...(enter number from 1 to 50) now what my problem is that when i try to insert a no. on the box it simply does not accept.....similar to that kibitz is not accepted in kibitzing box. i hope i illustrated pretty well...thats my best english <chessgames> |
