Domdaniel: <matebay> You are missing the point entirely, which is not a novel phenomenon. This isn't about sockpuppetry. Have all the socks you want.

This is about the convention that games in this and other databases are not entered under a pseudonym (nick, username, heteronym, etc) - except 'NN' in cases where the name is not known. Dozens of CG members have games in the database, and we don't use our usernames, as Tim inadvertently did.

We agree that Tim is a fine fellow and meant no harm.

Dec-18-11  tubebender: I wonder how many of you would be interested in playing two GMs at the same time or perhaps in the future playing one GM two games concurrently as though he were an opponent in a double round robin correspondence event? Perhaps this may be a bit too ambitious but I`m curious to see the responses. Have a nice holiday everyone!
Dec-18-11  AylerKupp: <tubebender> I like the idea of playing two games simultaneously against the same GM, one with White and one with Black. I think that would be interesting.
Dec-18-11  LIFE Master AJ: W So vs Shirov, 2011

This page is in need of your attention, there are many posts there that have no business being there. (cyber-stalking)

As a PAID premium member, I formally request that you do something about the trolls. Simply deleting their stupidity is NOT enough, it is time for firmer measures.

Dec-18-11  JoergWalter: <LMAJ:Simply deleting their stupidity is NOT enough, it is time for firmer measures.>

kindly, delete the plagiarist's stupidity as well.

Merry christmas

Dec-18-11  matebay: Hi Boss. It's either <AJ> has found the lost treasure of Yamashita and failed to distribute to the rest of the bandits or he is an irresistible gay magnet.

Firmer measures are in order in any case. Maybe demote the colonel mortimer to private Benjamin... Nememistic, Hayden Ko and King Death should be visited by the 3 ghosts of christmas past, present and future to perk up their dull and worthless existence...for how could they make mortal a game made by a God?

Domdaniel: <As a PAID premium member> There are other kinds?

Actually, yes. While the vast majority of premium members pay their annual subs, a few stay one step ahead of the Cg-man by winning prizes in the Clue Hunt.

This, I suggest, would be a better use of everyone's time. This squabbling is ridiculous.

Dec-19-11  Benzol: < This squabbling is ridiculous.> Amen to that.
Dec-19-11  Everyone: Good gracious! You're flogging a dead horse.
Dec-19-11  King Death: <Domdaniel: <As a PAID premium member> There are other kinds?..>

In another life I think <AJ> was a member of academia, where petty squabbles rule the roost.

<...This squabbling is ridiculous.>

I'll sign off on that one too.

Penguincw: Any idea where User: Chessgames Bookie is? If the leg is over, then there should be an announcement about that.
Dec-19-11  Benzol: <If the leg is over, then there should be an announcement about that.>

If the leg is over the climax shouldn't be too far away.

:)

Dec-19-11  AylerKupp: <WannaBe>, <King Death> If any of you are ever in Oakland, CA, make sure that you try the squab (pigeon) at Oliveto's.

http://www.oliveto.com/

http://sanfrancisco.grubstreet.com/...

The current presentation is somewhat different and, in my opinon, simpler and better looking, with the squab's 2 legs up in the air.

WannaBe: <AylerKupp> Oakland?! Oakland!? I live in San Mateo, I'm the 0.001%!! :-)))

<Benzol> Hmmmm... leg o' squab...

Domdaniel: <CG> Wraparound violation on POTD?

As if we weren't already wide-eyed and legless.

Dec-20-11  Blunderdome: Women's World Team Championship could use a forum.
Dec-20-11  chessmoron: <CG> Were there problems with the PGNs for blitz and blindfold games for SportAccord Mind Games?
Dec-20-11  matebay: Hi Boss,

Down the Wesley So Vs Shirov Page, the horde of zombies are back...out to suck <AJ> dry of his blood...

<AJ> is making a brave stand...but the walking dead are relentless...out to consume <AJ>'s entrails and body parts.

And for what? <AJ> making a website featuring Wesley So's genius at work.

Please dispense justice.

Dec-21-11  Kimmel: <Please dispense justice.>

Are you kidding? There is no justice in cg. :)
