 | | OhioChessFan: The not yet played Radja-Topa game is listed as #25 in the FIDE cross table but it should be #31. |

 | | chessgames.com: <On my iPad, the upper left hand logo does not show, but on my android phone, everything is fine.> Just to be clear you mean this graphic, right http://www.chessgames.com/chessimag... Are you sure it's not some temporary glitch? Try refreshing the above graphic and then see if it doesn't go away. <The not yet played Radja-Topa game is listed as #25 in the FIDE cross table but it should be #31.> We put the wrong date by accident, thanks. |

 | | WannaBe: When I click on that link, I see nothing, it does NOT happen with my Windoze systems, or my Android phone. I turn my iPad off every night, does anyone else here with iDevice that sees the same issue? It's no big deal, since I know it's the home button. |
|
| Apr-24-13 | | hms123: <WannaBe> I, too, turn off my iPad every night and I do not have a problem seeing the logo. |
|

 | | WannaBe: <hms123> Thanks, I'll see if clearing the cache or something may solve the issue... Very interesting. |

 | | WannaBe: Clearing the cache worked. Grrrrr... |

| Apr-24-13 | | technical draw: <Bosses> I am thinking of writing short stories somewhat like the late Paul Harvey. Can I register as Paul Harvey did? Is there any legal problems in using the name Paul Harvey and "Now You know the rest of the story?" We can even open a page with the name Paul Harvey . Of course that might cause a lot of legal problems.
I of course can write Harvey type stories under my own name. You tell me chess games.com, can I , or cant I? |

 | | chessgames.com: <technical draw> That's a lovely idea. I just youtube'd Paul Harvey and I have to admit I got teary eyed. <You tell me chess games.com, can I , or cant I?> It isn't really up to us to say in the end, but I would suggest that you simply put at the top of the profile page words to the effect of "This account is a tribute to late great Paul Harvey.", just to prevent any possible misunderstandings. |
|
| Apr-25-13 | | technical draw: Thanks <cherssgames.com>. I will surely make it clear that it's a tribute to the late Paul Harvey. |

 | | chessgames.com: <goldenbear: How do you delete an account?> In general, you can't. In special circumstances we've helped people out who made a compelling case. For example, more than one person used their real full name as their screen-name and later regretted it. |
|
| Apr-25-13 | | goldenbear: <chessgames> Seriously? I didn't realize I was writing for all time. Surely it is not too great a request to delete my account since I have not written a great deal and am not an integral member of the site?... |

What/Who is the source for Bobby
brushing off something distracting to him
on the playing table & Petrosian
slapping his fingers ??
You verified this incident happened.
It was Quote of the Day on Bobby's page.
Bobby was always praised by opponents
for impeccable demeanor at the board.
What is the retrievable source ??
What were the exact words used ??
[Please send yr/ reply to me <lamont>
on Bobby's site.] |

 | | chessgames.com: Our quotes are taken mostly from compilations such as http://bobbyfischer.net/fischerquot... or http://zeitgeist-bg.com/CHESSNEWSTO... and combined into one file. We can't give you a citation for the Koblentz quote, or even say with certainty that it's authentic. Sorry. |
|
| Apr-29-13 | | tbentley: According to http://www.chesscafe.com/text/skitt..., the quote comes from "Russians vs. Fischer" by Plisetsky and Voronkov (eds., 1994). |

| Apr-30-13 | | LIFE Master AJ: How come you idiots will reject 30+ of my wins and yet post a loss ... with an incorrect score? |
|
| Apr-30-13 | | LIFE Master AJ: The only answer is that this site is run by a bunch of incompetent morons ... |

I suggest you delete all AJ's games and ban him for good from this site. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH |
