 | | WannaBe: <chessgames.com> Some web sites, for doing search, they have radio button that offers "Match any word", and "Match all words" would this make things easier? Or harder? |

 | | chessgames.com: The code that triggered that seems to be just a single period before move number number 32: <31. Qe3 Qxd6 .32. Nc3 Qb4 33. Qe2 Qd6>. That's all it takes to turn a8 into a Christmas light. That's a new one on me. |

| Aug-14-14 | | WinKing: We (the World Team) never received a move from GM Naiditsch yesterday. We moved 13.Ba4 on August 10th so his move was due yesterday. We are all wondering if you have heard from him & what the situation might be. Just wanted you to be aware - thanks. |

 | | chessgames.com: I sent an email to GMARK but haven't heard back yet. I'm not sure if it's the Olympiad or that he wants to study 13.Ba4 some more, or maybe a little of both—in any case, I deducted his first extension and now he has until next Wednesday. |
|
| Aug-14-14 | | WinKing: Thanks <chessgames> I will let the troop know. |

| Aug-18-14 | | MarkFinan: <KKDEREK: Hey mark, did you born butthurted (and you parents did'nt proper educated you) or you became one on Leeds prison ( where you did your time) and become addicted? lol.
Tell us my dear criminal. Pour out old man.
People, take it easy with him. He's a very sensible man and have some past issues..Don't mock on him on Oasis, Liam, Messi, Beatles, Pele, Bradford, English Media, nothing , or he will get mad and... Thanks>

 | | chessgames.com: You two are like children.
<KKDEREK> if you break our posting rules, you don't get a free pass if you can demonstrate that you were insulting somebody who broke the rules themselves. You know that very well, because we've been through it more than once. <MarkFinan> Every day I see you interact with KKDEREK, and complain about KKDEREK. If your goal is to goad him into breaking the rules then I'm sure you've succeeded, but you're not doing anybody a service by undertaking such a project. I wish you'd both just put each other on your ignore lists and be done with this. Seriously. You obviously don't like each other; that's fine. But does that mean you have to constantly be fighting? I wouldn't mind this situation so much if you were fighting over the merits and disadvantages of the IQP, or how to liberate your light-squared bishop in the French Defense. But no, you're at each other's throats about football, music, etc. I'm sure I'm speaking in behalf of the majority of Chessgames members when I plead to both of you, just give it a rest. |

| Aug-18-14 | | MarkFinan: <I wouldn't mind this situation so much if you were fighting over the merits and disadvantages of the IQP, or how to liberate your light-squared bishop in the French Defense.> Good point. But he can't play chess which begs the question. What's he doing here in the first place? Anyway I'm busy tonight but I'll try pop in here later because as you know.. I've been quiet for a reason! I'll publicly say it if you're not bothered?? <<MarkFinan> Every day I see you interact with KKDEREK, and complain about KKDEREK.> Wrong. You see him follow me around like a love sick puppy. I talk to other people and he cherps up. He has photos of me that I don't even have! Do you not find that weird?? Anyway. Peace out until later :-) |

Sorry I had to delete your post because it broke formatting. <To change the topic for a moment - I just realized that <Adv Search> is very sensitive to whitespace. Doing a search on < 88952> is different from searching on <88952>.> I had no idea. That's easy to fix, thanks for pointing that out. |

| Aug-19-14 | | davide2013: The Guess the move queue is blocked by 2 days, did something happen with the server? (Just mentioning, because once you told me there was a hacker... and since the Olympiads are over, I cannot imagine why it is blocked...) |
|
| Aug-19-14 | | MarkFinan: CeeGee.. I don't know whether anyone's ever mentioned this before but it's happened to me three times now. I make a post, say in the cafe. I go back to my profile. I see the post has been posted. I click back on the link to re read my post and it's not yet showed up!! |

 | | chessgames.com: <Davide> GTM is chugging away fine, it's just that a few people are flooding us with requests. I see it processing a game now, I hope its yours. <Mark> When you refresh the page, does your post show up then? I did hear something like that not long ago and I attributed it to some kind of cache problem on the user-end. I can't imagine what else it could be. |

| Aug-19-14 | | zanzibar: Just posted in Bio Bistro, about <Tromso Open olm (2014)>, which might be worth a look: Biographer Bistro |

I did hear something like that not long ago and I attributed it to some kind of cache problem on the user-end. I can't imagine what else it could be.> When I refreshed the page it wasn't coming up, no. I clear the cache of my browser every day (btw I'm not a fan of google chrome...anyway) so it's not that. It's happened on three separate occasions over the space of a few weeks. There's no problem because it still posts, I was just letting you know. When I'm not using my Wi-Fi and just using my data up the pages refresh a lot faster, so maybe that's it. You know I'm no technological wizz Daniel, lol ✌ |
