It still worries me a bit, cause my computer is only 2 years old.....I also noticed I have my "PGN Viewer set at pgn4web (Default) then right next to that is a small window and it says Set inside. Looks like there are 7 other viewer settings I have the option of using. Was not aware of other viewing options. Again, thanks for responding!! |

Was not aware of other viewing options.> You've learned that pgn4web sometimes has problems, but I can tell you that you will positively go mad trying to get the Java apps to work. The CVD advocates suffer with slowness and complexity to achieve software power. It's a tough trade off. But if you really want to try, Chess Viewer Deluxe II is the one to go for. By the way, we have plans to introduce a new viewer akin to pgn4web with the precious feature of being able to manipulate the pieces on the board in accord with the rules of chess. I feel once we have that, it should be the most useful lightweight PGN viewing app available on the net. We will make it open source so that the world can enjoy its usefulness. |
