 | | perfidious: Hope all is well <Domdaniel>! |
| Jul-13-12 | | MarkFinan: Well... I haven't visited Dom's forum In a long time, but he appears to have dissapeared so I hope you're OK wherever you are mate...
I hope you're working on the English oppening, as opposed to le Francais (?? Lol ;) ) |
| Jul-22-12 | | MarkFinan: Hey Dom??? Where you at???
I really hope you're OK mate, I don't look or post In people's forums much now, but I have noticed you've vanished !! Well.... I hope you're healthy and well, and just taking a break from here?? I'm about to start asking around CG's forums for DD sightings now! Well It's strange you haven't posted for this long mate.. Hope you're reading this (get your head out of that Latin dictionary ;) lol ), and take care.... Really strange how you've just vanished though now I think about It!! |

 | | moronovich: Still breathing <Dom> ? Perhaps just a little word to say you are alive,please ? |
| Jul-25-12 | | waustad: Maybe he's playing with malthrope. |
| Aug-12-12 | | dakgootje: This is turning into one of those forgotten dark and dusty temples or libraries, with planks covering mile-high windows and sheets over old discarded desks and seats. A few hundred years from now, an e-archaeologist will break his way through piled up rubble and find an ancient internet civilization. He will extract all data, every single post, and show it in the National Museum of Internet History - and say: 'look, this is how these people lived'. And many schoolclasses will scroll through the online exhibits and wonder - wonder when they can leave. -- Has dom ever had such long absences? I'm starting to get a bit worried, which doesn't really suit me. When you are my age, you ought to be cool, cold, collected and careless. At least, that's what the media tells me. |
| Aug-19-12 | | brankat: Dom haws been very, very active around here (and elsewhere) for years. I think he just needs a break, and will be back in due time. Re-energized, and ready to rock 'n roll again. |
| Aug-29-12 | | theodor: hi Dom, I created this petition 4 days ago, and there are all in aii 5 signatures, included mine! I've posted it in several places in CG - nothing! I am suspecting some filtering or censure (not in CG!). I'm sure you'll support the petition and forward it! Garry Kasparov deserve it. THANK YOU http://www.avaaz.org/it/petition/mo... NB - first one should subscribe, then put the e-mail and click on FIRMA |

| Sep-05-12 | | waustad: One of the missing at least still reads stuff here occasionally, viz. Mateo. "Last seen Aug-12-12." |

 | | Check It Out: Dom Dom Dom Dom...DOM!!!
Hope all is well... |

 | | Domdaniel: <Brankat> (Aug 19) was right. But thank you, everyone who enquired, guessed, expresssed goodwill, etc. I've been totally offline for a few months and have found that life goes on. Strange but true. But no doubt my internal exile will self-terminate before much longer. I also gave up chess for a while, but that old addiction will resurface soon too. Be good.

| Sep-23-12 | | dakgootje: Dom! Welcome back! :) |
| Sep-23-12 | | hms123: Ok--its about time--hms |
Sep-23-12
 | | Domdaniel: <dak + hms> Thank you. It is, isn't it? Though I'm not actually *back* yet -- more like a sort of day release thingy. I just wanted to reassure folks that my lease on life had not expired. I'll be back. |
| Sep-23-12 | | dakgootje: Although you'll never really be back obviously, as back is ever changing. It's that age old 'When the chicken crossed the river, was it the same chicken?'-question. So you'll rather befor. |

 | | Annie K.: <Dom> how nice to see you... errm, back, or not back, as the case may be. ;p |
Sep-24-12
 | | Domdaniel: <A> Thanks. Back-ish, it seems, though I'll be offline again from tonight. My machineries degraded during the months I wasn't using them - so when I got a new wifi installation I found my computer wasn't working properly. I haven't gone this long without the web since they invented it. This site seems to have been fairly civilized while I was away - I see no obvious evidence of flame wars, LIFE-bombing, vitreous humors, usw. Maybe it was all my fault after all. Or else I'm doing my zen thing on Mount Baldy. |
Sep-24-12
 | | Annie K.: The site has been as well-behaved as I've ever seen it. It doesn't necessarily follow that everything was all your fault, but you never know... ;) |
Sep-24-12
 | | Domdaniel: <dak> You're so philosophical. As the apterosophists used to say, "You can't step into the same chicken once". Or maybe that was Heraclitus. You can make a fine char-broiled chicken with earth, air, fire and water, plus a few spices. And first catch your birdie. <Annie> Yes, quite. Mustn't mistake correlation for causality, after all. That'd be, well, paranoid. Gotta go back to the woods for a while now. The void is calling. |
| Sep-25-12 | | brankat: You'll never know how much You have not missed around here :-) |
| Sep-26-12 | | Thanh Phan: Glad to see you have found the internet again <Domdaniel> I hope to be online a bit more often also, take care out there and have fun :) |

| Sep-27-12 | | mckmac: < Domdaniel > Great to see you are live and well. I am no longer an active member of this fine community, but that does not mean I do not look in from time to time. I usually come here and read a page or two. To read any more feels too much like snooping. I would like to take this opportunity to thank afew members for their friendship and forbearace. Paricularly < Eyal > < Benzol > < Niels > < Bill > < Tim > and < Howard > come to mind. I would also like to send my best wihes to < JFQ > < Brankat > < The Alchemist > < Richard > < Marco65 > < Open Defence, Annie And Mack > I could fill the page, but the cafe is closing. Cheers Dom. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Dom> well, this is largely as I predicted, except for most of the details. To quote "Meddle," and Liverpool football matches, "You'll neevvver walk, a, lone..." |
