jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

jessicafischerqueen: <Deffi> Well, we seem to be hanging on to this quaint custom of forcing our <Prime Minister> to face a regular grilling from <Parliament>.

Kind of like what <Bush> never has to do.

I think we are too attached to the Queen to go "Roman" at this point.

The miserable old bag.

Jun-17-07  Tactic101: Naturally, this was the move that came to my mind when I was looking at Rd5. Rxd4. And you play Bxf7, right? I no longer feel very comfortable, so I'm not trying to "rub it in". All I hope is that you are a bit nervous too. Now THIS is war.

jessicafischerqueen: Yes, I got past Rxd4 Bxf7 in fact, since they look virtually forced to me.

But I'm not telling ahead of time right now. Those moves virtually force a lot more trading, unless I've completely missed something.

Still not quite sure what will happen after all of it, except the main goal-- your King should be exposed after, a positional advantage?

Or an advantage for you, since it looks like we may be heading for the endgame now?

Your exposed king could become an offensive weapon if enough pieces come off the board. Mine's still out to lunch hiding on my Queenside.

Jun-17-07  Tactic101: I feel Nxf6 is in order. This move leads to the exchanges you were describing. If Nxf6, RxR, Nxd7 and Rxf7, with material advantage to black and Rxf6 and RxN, evening material. The last line is the one I think (hope) you will play. You may do something other than taking the knight, like defending your own. In either cases, exchanges will happen.

This game is like playing Russian Roulette, except that this time the gun is real.

Jun-17-07  Tactic101: I hope I haven't blundered on my last move. I never seem to be able to correctly play these tricky sort of moves.
Jun-17-07  chessmoron: <jess> But I will warn you that it has extremely offensive content but I will wait for e-mail anyways. You can search on it on imdb.com or wiki.com for a little infor on it.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> so <Rxd4> is your official move?

Sorry, I'm trying to turn <Dom's> forum into a <blog on chewing gum> at the moment.

Yep I followed that line you quoted as well. I think there's a checkmate for White in there somewheres though.

Will post in a bit.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> ah crap if you take the pawn off and trade knights I get to chase your King around a bit but I can't see a mate threat.

Just confirm that <Rxd4> is your official move?

  jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> LOL!!

It's kind of like we are playing a <consultation game>, but we are consulting against each other???

I like the "workshopping" aspect to friendly correspondence. Helps me learn.

OK I'm going to assume your move is <Rxd4>, and mine of course is <Bxf7>.

If you change your mind I'll change the FEN.

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> well, no one seems to be around except <Tactic>.

I can certainly play two Correspondence games at once.

No school or work for two months or more here.

So I put our FEN up, and took White and moved.

Your move, or if you'd prefer White I can just make a new FEN.

Let us play sir!!!

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> there's actually another viable line after you take <Nxf6>, if that's what you will do.

Check it out before you move.

Course, it's your call...

Jun-17-07  Tactic101: All of those moves are official. I'm pretty sure about them.

Wait................ is it possible that you're being nice to me.......... and you've seen I've blundered....... and you're giving me one chance at holding on? I'll think about this for a while

Kidding! I'm the pessimist. The glass is always half empty. Those moves are official.

Jun-17-07  Tactic101: What's this viable idea? I see nothing that forces me a loss immediately.
Jun-17-07  chessmoron: I reply to your bee-mail <Jess>. Sorry it took quite long.
Jun-17-07  Eyal: <Just had to drop a post in here, since your forum is a <base 6> forum and it's my <6666> post.>

<Cripes I miscounted again if you can believe it. THIS is now my 6666 post. Good Grief.>

<Omigod i'm retarded and i should be asleep. This is the 6666 post.>

<Unless I've got my Math wrong, here is post 7000!!!>

<Open Defence: *ahem* that was 6700>

<Doh! Not again!>

Vintage Jess!!

<Ack... stumbles around your apartment while you're gone, knocks over a 4000 year old Sumerian Pot>

Well - easy come, easy go. I actually took that pot from <Ziggurat>'s place.

Hi Jess, I'm back from "Africa". A bit exhausted at the moment - I'll send you an e-mail within the next couple of days. And congrats for finally making a <mortal enemy> for yourself, and such a <feared predator> to boot (assuming he still is - hard to keep track of everything that has been going on around here).

Jun-17-07  Ragh: <Jess> I play 1..e5.

I was expecting piece odds against an experienced correspondence master like you, but its understandable because you're in a simul.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> so <27...Nxf6> is your official move?

Then <28.Rxf6>.

I would never "pull punches" in a chess game against anyone, especially someone with a higher rating.

Your move bud!!

Jun-17-07  chessmoron: Now get your prediction cap handy, before we get Dortmund--we get Aerosvit (2007). Couple of predictions on my forum though.

Shirov-Rublevsky
Svidler-Eljanov
Karjakin-Ivanchuk
Nisipeanu-Jakovenko
Sasikiran-Onischuk

Sounds scary!
