 | | jessicafischerqueen: Good Evening.
But the palindrome of <Bolton> would be <Notlob>! <b3> is no square for the Queen. In fact, I'm not even sure where that is on the board... We have to kill him..
<Timmerman's> whole strategy depends on eliminating <Tim>... |

Yes I'm quite excited by the prospect of cracking the "1900" sound barrier-- The biggest obstacle is finding people on Yahoo with high enough ratings to play. No way I'm putting my rating on the line against anyone under 1800, cuz if I lose, I lose tons of points. I had to wait over an hour for today's opponent.
All the 1900+ Yahoo players only play Blitz or Bullet. I have very little respect for them.
The so-called "advanced lounge" is a joke.
Obvioulsy, I need my Chess Club again.

| Mar-09-08 | | achieve: <Jess> You have a point... I read your plans about getting a job near a chessclub... I fully sympathize... Yahoo Classical rating a main objective? I bet once you start playing in a league/tournys you'll be relishing that experience, and getting a real rating. WOW Other online possibilities are Playchess and ICC, just download their software and login as a GUEST-- I registered yesterday at playchess, coincidentally. Good server. Enjoy your evening, mademoiselle! |

| Mar-09-08 | | Ziggurat: And a good evening to you too! I am just preparing to go out on a much too rare Evening Without the Kids (TM). I'm going to see a show with the British dubstep band Kode9 at the Esplanade, or the "double durian" as it's affectionately known here. http://flickr.com/photos/nordish/24... |

Hi <Captain> how are you doing??? |
|
| Mar-09-08 | | Boomie: <JessArooo> Good Morrow. Yes, a fine newsman. Glad to see you haven't lost your fine English manners. By all means, play live. Your opponents will be distracted by your kiltie. Online perhaps you are ready for Playchess. You will have better luck finding a game there. Keep a stiff upper for God and country. I admire an Englishwoman who stands on her principle and sits down on her own stool. Ta. |

Today would have been Fischer's 65th birthday... Here's something which perhaps you haven't seen yet - GM Matanovic for the Chess Informant: http://www.sahovski.co.yu/other/ind.... And a chance to look again at one of his less appreciated games: Fischer vs Panno, 1970. |

| Mar-09-08 | | Blako: Me am happy to say hello to you, Ms. <JessicaFischerQueen>. Me am very busy. Me watch only little bit of Linares. But me watch The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas with class this week. It am film from 1950s with Peter Cushing (he was am very close frinds with Christopher Lee) and Forrest Tucker. It am very good movie--it am literate, serious, and am thought-provoking, not silly monster movie.
You am to be careful when steal form of greeting: <I'm mainly excited about the new form of <greeting> I stole from <User: an englishman>>. You am to remember legal problem when you steal <CC> trademark closing phrase? It am dangerous! Regards, Blako
