  jessicafischerqueen: Good Afternoon.

Hi <Blako>!! Haven't see you for a while!

No worries, I don't think <an Englishman> comes to CG.com unless there is a tournament to watch.

  jessicafischerqueen: Good Morning.

Hi <just a kid>! Thank you, but I only play Correspondence games on <letsplaychess.com> now.

Also, I just completed my 18th game there, and I have a current rating of <1933>. I'm not playing any more games there for the time being as I am very busy at work with the new teaching semester.

I played quite a few serious Correspondence games here in my forum last year-- but they are time consuming.

In "serious correspondence" I use my board and try out many different ideas and variations, moving the pieces around-- before making my official move.

But on <letsplaychess.com> I used the games as "training" for my Chess play.

That is, I didn't use my board= only my head, pretending I'm playing OTB- to practice "visualizing" a position in the future.

However, I will be watching your game with <Tactic101> with interest.

He is a very strong Correspondence player, in my opinion.

We played once last year and I was very lucky to win-- one of the toughest games I played.

<User: Ragh> is also a very tough Correspondence player- you might consider giving him a challenge.

The best Correspondence player at CG.com that I know personally is <User: Achieve>.

Mar-10-08  NakoSonorense: Anyang haseo! Good morning!

How's it going o'er there in Seoul?! Hope life's good.

After having seen 8-10 movies on quicksilverscreen.com, I refuse to ever pay again to watch movies, unless I feel like going to the theatre.

Do you know of more sites such as the above one?

I'd appreciate it.

Kemop da.

Adios.

Mar-10-08  chessmoron: <Nako> Have you tried to watch "The Dead Girl?" The bickering between me and batchimeg is still going strong.
Mar-10-08  NakoSonorense: Last time I checked, "The Dead Girl" wasn't up on the only watch-all-movies-you-like-without-having-to-pay -a-single-penny website I go to.

<McLovin>: HEY! You said <Dead Girl> was OK and you gave it 3 out of 5 stars!!

<Jason Statham>, as he usually is, was the best thing about <Bank Job>, and I liked it a fair bit, thanks. Nowhere near as good as <The Long Good Friday, Snatch, or Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels> though.

  jessicafischerqueen: Good Evening.

Hi <Nako>!!

Yes, <quicksilver> is absolutely my <free streaming vid site> of choice, not only for how easy it is to use the interface, but also because rare and older "art films" will pop up on an almost daily basis.

A VERY USEFUL site is here, and it's updated regularly:

http://blog.buttermouth.com/2007/06...

It ranks the "top 25" free vid sites.

My top three are <Quicksilver,> and these two:

<movieforumz.com> is very similar to Quicksilver but with an even bigger selection. However, it's super busy and at certain times of the day (like right this minute, for example) there's too much traffic to get on it. Usually you can though.

My third choice is http://www.66stage.com/

Which has an Excellent selection.

Why these three are my top three:

1. Large selection of movies and TV
2. Easy interface
3. Almost NO DEAD LINKS, ever.

Also, there is a decent site that "trolls" other sites if you type in the name of a movie or TV show:

http://movies.nabolister.com/

It's good, but it's hit or miss if the result will be hosted on a decent player (VEOH, or FLIQZ- (fliqz player is the best DIVX player since Stage 6 closed down).

However, both <toudou> and <youku> are OK- often good sound pic quality- if you don't mind waiting a long time for them to upload.

Regards,
Mrs. ONLY watches movies and TV shows on <free streaming vid sites>.

<Nako> here is a great VEOH link for <The Dead Girl>.

I just found it on <nabolister.com> a second ago.

http://www.blockbustertv.com/showth...

When you go there, just click on the TITLE of the movie and your VEOH player will load up.

Mar-11-08  positionalgenius: <Jess> I play on chessworld.net- do you?

  jessicafischerqueen: Good Afternoon.

Hi <positional>!

Well I'm not sure. I play correspondence on this site:

http://www.letsplaychess.com/chessc...?

So I think the answer is yes. I don't know why it has two names.

However, I just completed my 18th rated game today-- I'm shut down now for the time being cuz I'm back to work.

I play a long game once or twice if I can on weekends only.

<These Romans are crazy>...

Mar-11-08  achieve: Good afternoon.

I must say that I find your borrowed salutation classy. It avoids the standard "heh" in most cases, but in this case I feel that there is more going on...

WHOOOOO WHY??

Not sure... I guess what sets <An Englishman> apart is the fact that he salutates in every little post.... even in a LIVE thread....

Personal items are a definite pre-requisite in this case:

Love and thank goodness to all who carry handbags,

Niels

PS. VEOH Viewer kicks ass.
