I don't know. Actually, I never thought about it. I guess it will vary from player to player, depending on at least 2 factors:

-- how much practice does one have in a given type,

-- a certain "natural"(?) affinity, or taste..

I suppose the end-games study should start with the most common types, for example <K+R(s)+P(s) vs. the same> and <K+P(s) vs the same>, then work Your way down the list. And that regardless of how the material may be organized in an endings book You'd be using as a guide.

Spend as much time on each type as You need to feel reasonably comfortable with it. From time to time it is useful to repeat the procedure.

While at it, don't forget that there are also Openings and Middle-games there :-)

Overall, it is much easier and simpler, less demanding and time consuming, to study Medicine, Law or Astro-Physics :-)

I don't find this affair even remotely humorous.

<User: mckmac> has been emailing all of my friends attempting to get them to help him "dig up information" to prove that <Branko> is an evil wizard who runs me as a <sockpuppet>. He has also undertaken to savagely malign Branko's character in these crazed emails. And mine (obviously, since he thinks we are the same person).

If the administrators don't take any action now, I'm considering asking them to confirm independantly that me and <branko> have separate accounts with separate IP addresses with separate passwords etc.

He has also been peppering my friends' houses with obscene insults against me, all of which have now been deleted.

However, I sent every one of them to the <administrators> already and I'm truly hoping they take some kind of effective action.

Like they took against me. Three times.

Of course I deserved it-- but I'm hoping that the same standard is applied to <Mckmac> as was applied to me.

She is also a devotee as well as advocate for this, perhaps the most curious, of all openings.
