As I do with all newcomers who are bona fide polymaths, I extend an invitation to check out our "home forum" Domdaniel chessforum We have "loose" discussions of <cheese, computers, chess, literature, philosophy, etymology, puns, limericks, the Erse, frogs (the fourm is actually called FROGSPAWN- The Only Chessforum Devoted to Bacteria)--16th century Swedish ecumenical practice, moonbeams, art, Marcel Duchamp, The Velvet Underground, science, math, conspiracy theories, and, of course, there'll be sport.> Come by and join the fun if you fancy.

I still don't get it, but you can explain it to me over drinks in the <Lava Lounge> at the beautiful <Waikiikii Hilton> after the game.> Two cliches in question:
Men sweat like pigs. Women glow.
How about another Mai Tai, ukelele lady? |

I couldn't find the Jim Kweskin Jug Band version but this is hilarious. I love this silly song from the Roaring 20's. Gosh they had fun back them.

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Time to find those Press Conferences> HI TIM!!
Thanks for the <Kasparov> interview, I'm going in to read it now as mental "preparation" for today's game I play on <Yahoo>. Hopefully, however, I can avoid playing a mental game. Do you have links to Press conferences after the game? Sorry for being so testy last night not to mention plain dumb... Some people were reacting to my recent posts on the Tourney Page with sexist insults etc. Maybe I should tone it down a little...
Thanks for the ancient pop history youtube lesson too!! Fun is Fun! |

| Oct-17-08 | | Boomie: <Jess Moves: Hopefully, however, I can avoid playing a mental game.> Don't you go mental on me now.
I can't find any interviews after today's fireworks. Maybe they'll appear in a couple of hours. The misunderstanding of my admittedly weak joke isn't important to me. You can throw a hissy fit at me any time you want. You got full revenge with that folding sentence I had to follow. Sheesh. Have a smashing pumpkins game. You Gogol. |

I did notice many of your typically "pithy" comments as well... Why did you close your forum?
Was it due to the poor critical reception of <Snakes on a Plane>? Mrs. Proud to be a personal friend of <Samuel L. Jackson> |
