 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Niels>: torrent guru
Thanks for the red hot tip- I will go to <rogge elephant>- But I think I figured out what happened.
I had already erased the file in question- but the "title folder" was still not erased so the title of the file was still there in my Vuze download library. This is why when I erased it, my hard drive didnt' gain any space (should have increased by 2.5 gigabytes because the file was all of season five of "Entourage"). Last week I had been looking for 'stray' or 'orphan' video files in my Computer search box- You see, sometimes these torrent files are stored/backed up on your hardrive under a slightly different name. So once a week I do the "two letter alphabet search"- So you just type in "ab" then "ac" etc in the search box until you get through all two letter combinations. It only takes about 20 minutes. This will call up every downloaded file and list it, eventually. So when "entourage" stray files came up during this process last week, I must have mistakenly deleted the season 5 video files, and not just the stray files from the previous seasons, of which there were a few. This also explains why after I tried to delete the file from my Vuze library yesterday, my recycle bin only contained the "title folder" and none of the actual video files. Because they had already been deleted previously via the method I just told you about. Mrs. Keeping her hard drive clean so I have lots of room to steal new items. |

| Oct-07-09 | | Travis Bickle: Hi Jess come on over to my forum and check out Keith Moon of The Who's rare 7 minute plus drum solo! |

| Oct-08-09 | | A Karpov Fan: good tip <Jess>, thanks |

| Oct-08-09 | | achieve: <Jess> <dak> Without any reservation I can say that the long download of <Megane> was worth the wait-- I watched it this morning, before sunrise, and was quite enchanted by the film. To such extent, really, that I'd need some thought on my part as how to describe this as elegantly; as elegant and eloquent as the filmmaker, through superior cinematography. The storyline is deceptively simple, and carries some of the profoundest of messages. Any person who falls asleep during this movie was/is
- very tired to begin with
- doesn't have any kind of developed taste for the "finer" things in life - suffers from a condition that I would describe as a sickness; "boredom of the Soul" The latter truly a major threat to our civilization, if you take it a few steps further. I'm reminded also of Jess' lamentations of "Korean Pop culture. I actually was more drawn in with 10 minutes in this movie <Megane>, than I was by the many Hollywood Action flicks that are being cranked out each day, put together. Actually I just lifted a tip of the veil, regarding the many things of value that can be drawn- or taken in and away- from this gem of a film. A rarity. |
|
| Oct-08-09 | | achieve: PS - in fact I just thought of a term mainly used in "Music" - but I think it applies here (cinematography) as well: Timbre -
- which is delightful and very well taken care of in this film. But not all share my tastes, I am very well aware of that, and the time of day/night you choose to watch <Megane> surely will determine in large part how the film reaches you. Ideally, while watching, it has to be quiet and lights dimmed. Arright then! |

| Oct-09-09 | | Ragh: <JFK> No, I haven't seen the latest Star Trek movie. Although I heard it was good, I just didn't get a chance. How are things at your side of the pond? I see that the numero uno kibitzer title is just around the corner ;) I, for myself, am waiting for Yourang and chessmoron to publish the last round prediction contest results, to see if I am in the unfamiliar territory of Gold/Silver medalists. |

JINX
Because Halloween is coming up, and I still can't find William Castle's <Homicidal> on the internet, I was just thinking two days ago about asking you for more horror recommendations. So this film is <The Other> and not <The Others> right? I saw <The Others> already. I will check on IMDB.
Glad you enjoyed the <Moon Landing>. Difficult to believe that his private life was even more chaotic than his public life, but it seems to be so. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <ToRAGH, ToRAGH, ToRAGH!> Things is good here thanks for asking. Don't miss the new Star Trek although you can watch it anytime you want free on the internet of course. I hope you "medal" in the important <Guess the Chessbookie Prediction Money Trophy Contest of the Stars>. Also, please open your forum again. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: This is <Matt Pullin>- an Expert Rated Club player who makes very, very fine instructional videos. Here he is in his finest hour, beating an International Master rated more than 300 points higher than him: http://www.youtube.com/user/GreenCa... |
|
| Oct-10-09 | | achieve: <Jess> You are certainly giving out some goodies; will check that YT link... And thansvewwymush (the "Tryfon sign-off") for putting the Best Of All Time gamecollection at the Center -- I w-i-l-l be checking that out as well...
And to appease your multifarious cinematic interests and needs, may I offer you these items: The Thaw
Pandorum
Five Minutes Of Heaven
Pandorum may actually disappoint a bit, but if you enjoy that genre, these three will ensure you a nice and balanced cinematic experience. Best served with a <Screeching Mule> (now in Gallon !!! format) (Actually I have only seen small portions of all three, so if you have already seen one, and found it ******, then please give me the "thumbs down") |
|
| Oct-10-09 | | achieve: Another masterpiece, and had me laughing hysterically, actually. But i will not post any more of these, as we can keep track of this genius through the <search kibbing> function-- but in this case I could just not help myself. From the Pearl Spring page:
<
we need a player who can easily at most reach 3200 or the level of the rypka in order to save humans chess carlson is very close to it but i think kasparow need to mold him none of you could do it especially not short even if you were locked in prison with nothing to study but chess books although the first step may be to have get carlson stop play tourmanents and the pointless nakamura and isolate him to study fine principles of chess to the scrutinization of his genuis meanwhile rypka can get stronger as you like it without laying siege to the battling viking carlson >
I'm speechless |
|
| Oct-10-09 | | achieve: PS - <Matt Pullin>'s channel is excellent; he even uses these balloons that pop up with extra information. Added.
Thx |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Doctor> yes I've been monitoring the "tracking records" of those three films- I'm waiting a bit until they are all on DVD rip- Also, preliminary IMDB info is totally unreliable because members of the film's production team always spam 10 out of 10 reviews for a bit. Let's regard them as "films of interest" for the time being- I'd be surprised if I didn't end up downloading and watching them sooner rather than later. MEGANE is next on the list- I have to free up some hard drive space before any new downloading- I've got to finish watching some of the stuff I've already got, which includes entire seasons of historical TV shows of interest. I found your posts here to be posts of interest.
Pardon me, but I've just been watching a Detective Drama where they say "person of interest" about 300 times in half an hour. Back in a minute... |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: < and the pointless nakamura> hahahhahaAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAH
<onto's> latest masterpiece worth it along just for that fragment.... THE MYSTERY DEEPENS.
As it should...
Yes <Matt Pullin>- He also loves endgame studies and he has posted many thematic and some famous studies with hardly any pieces on the board. <Howard> also gave <Matt Pullin> the "thumbs up"- In addition, he answers every message and every comment on his videos. I love him. |
