Alas, such is not to be for me.
I'm assuming that I've retained the (approximate estimated rating range) on the cusp between "Class B" and "Class A" Club Player. I haven't played OTB at my Canadian Club for three years now- stuck in Korea, "Land of No Chess Clubs." 1400-1600 on <gameknot> is more than respectable if you ask me. There are a lot of tough players at that site. |

Thanks for the links to the video's. I just watched the first one, darn good job. Please pass along my congrats to your partners. I know a lot about C's life, I have read several books on him. I think you have done an outstanding job, there were no historical inaccuracies that I could spot. :) |

| Jul-31-10 | | Travis Bickle: Hi Jess glad to hear from you too! ; P
Neil Young once said "I've never heard anyone play electric guitar like Jimi Hendrix, he played guitar like it was part of his body". Young also said, "Jimi was 'Johnny Be Goode', as far as I'm concerned nobody is in the same building as him"! Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck & Stevie Ray Vaughan pretty much agreed. My own personal observation is Jimi hendrix could do anything on a guitar without trying! He played it with his teeth, behind his back and he never even broke a sweat when playing! Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Page, Carlos Santana and Duane Allman where great guitarists also after Jimi. As to what order you put the rest is your own personal taste. Here is some vintage Jimi.

He was a Canadian character on the infamous Rocky J. Squirrel & Bullwinkle (the moose) Show. The 1st night time cartoon!> Correction <Mr. T>, that's Rocket J. Squirrel. (and Bullwinkle T. Moose, as long as we are on a full name basis) |

| Aug-01-10 | | Pyke: Hi <Jess>,
just in case you haven't seen it yet ... In one of <Kingscrusher>'s latest viedos he mentions the following game: A Summerscale vs G Jones, 2009
It includes a crude, but very efficient, attack revolving around a <fawn pawn>. So I thought you might be interested. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <My Dear Bishop>
That is indeed good news.
Are you in town for a Dinner Theatre run?
I understand earlier this season you turned down the part of "Toad of Toad Hall" because the director, Harry "Snapper" Organs, insisted that you employ the DeNiro method of preparation by living on a lily pad for six weeks. |
