jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

jessicafischerqueen: <Deffi> that's insanely crisp focus you got on that butterfly- it looks like its about to fly right out of the picture.

<caucho> did you see on that page that there are 125 photos by <Shake Your Booty>?

Possibly this was the inspiration for <Paul's> disco song.

jessicafischerqueen: Yes you just go to the right there and you can scroll backwards and forwards for all the photos.

I'm not sure on the details, but I think <Deffi> shot them all with a <Pentala Harikrishna 500 with extra Snoop Zoom>.

chancho: <Jess> I was horrified when I heard it back in the day. lol

Here's another foray into disco by another group.
It's not as bad though.
(Well, according to me anyway.)

Is this disco here?

If so, it's my favorite disco song:

chancho: <Jess> I remember that song by Blondie. It's cool.
Oct-02-10  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen: <T-Bone Walker> LOL!! I like it. ; P

That song does sound like Stevie, damn girl yoo got talent!

Oct-02-10  Travis Bickle: <Open Defence> To become an Honorary Canadian you have to chug 6 beers in under a minute, play hockey on a regular basis, ice fish when it's 60 degrees below zero & speak French! ; P

Oct-02-10  Travis Bickle: Jess here's a heartfelt song I seen on last seasons Elvis Costello show called Spectacle. The title of this tune is odd but it's a very heartfelt song!

Oct-03-10  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen: Plenty of great photos on that track I just posted, including <John> in the studio with <Elton John>.

However, look at the last photo of the video- I have a daring theory that <Yoko> is a female impersonator.>

I believe that is an horrendous picture of May Pang an assistant to Lennon who wound up having an affair with John when Yoko and he separated. When John was sent packing Yoko sent Miss Pang with Lennon to take care of his everyday business, because with John nothing got done unless someone took the initiative and got Lennon started on tasks at hand.

P.S. I guess that move backfired on The Dragon Lady LOL!!

Here's more info on this subject.

OhioChessFan: Blondie was more New Wave than Disco. Best disco song ever?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_sY...

Oct-03-10  therealbenjinathan: <Best disco song ever?> Is there a special term for an oxymoronic question?

Like most nutriciuous potato chip?

Oct-03-10  crawfb5: I don't know, but I think there should be a special category for oxymoronic careers. If we can have so-called "peace warriors," then why not "screaming mime" or "nonviolent assassin?"
Oct-03-10  crawfb5: <JessTheFlyGirl> I think your inbox is buzzing again. Either that, or there's a fly in your soup. Don't worry, <bee>, happy.
