jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

I hope you get lots of presents, and rum!

moronovich: Very good to see you are back again <jess> - Without you, something is missing..

And may you and your love ones have a
Merry Christmas and experience a New Year with all the best of challenges and delight !

Dec-24-10  twinlark: Happy Holidays, Jess!
Dec-24-10  achieve: Thanks so much, <Jess>! "We" particularly appreciate your <special mention> of Lars, really. ;) Not to belabor this too long but worth a brief anecdote I gather...

I was just thinking early this morning as Lars jumped on bed how absolutely wonderful and awe-inspiring it is to look that little friend in the eye and see the love and life he possesses; energy and wisdom in quantities, just there for me to "use" as well as I can, and enjoy. Really an inspirational, and spiritual experience to me, lately. Although on occasion he does get himself and/or me in deep scheisse, hehe... And then afterward he's genuinely ashamed, we cheer eachother up, and on we go!

Also I had a good laugh, chuckle, over your latest nomination of me, heh, "must be the <foxhole lessons> Lars has been subjecting me to lately."

A fruitful cooperation!

Warm regards from us, and enjoy your holiday season! (I have to "work" this afternoon even, though it's mainly a chance to wish eachother well, AND COLLECT MY CHRISTMAS <BONUS>! - worth mounting my bicycle and championing the very chilly northern winds that chase over these dutch fields..)

Wonderful anecdote- as they all are when <Lars> is the star.

Please let him know my theory that "A good weiner dog can save your life in the field."

Bonus! Can't be bad...

In the mean time, you two are welcome to hang out here whilst <The Center> is closed.

Dec-25-10  brankat: Dear Jess,

Wishing You a very Happy Holiday season!

Dec-25-10  achieve: <Jess> Very nice gesture in offering your forum, I actually once had the keys in my pocket, but will have to have a good look around to retrieve them... But getting right to the point; I am quite hungry for some old fashioned quality hardcore chess talk and analysis, human observations... the works -- and let's face it that's where we thrived and excelled, together with a group of like-minded, you know who ;)

During the London Chess Classic I was mightily entertained by Short's postgame analysis sessions, the ones with Szu Szoooh Nakamura and Luke Nuke yer daddy McShane, those, really stood out for me. <Eyal> and several others have also highlighted those games and innerviews in fantastic detail, yet there is always something missing... What exactly - I couldn't say, but yes certainly heads up on those clips that were also uploaded by Chessbase to their Youtube channel.

I'm gearing towards getting my premium back around Wijk aan Zee next month, in a few weeks in fact...

Looking forward to it!
